But only 4.8k shafts are on sale — that is not even enough to be eligible for srs reward. Seems that I will have to mine harder.

This is an interesting point.

Dev can you please let us know:

1) The logic behind the 5000 threshold?  It seems quite high.  If you have a good justification we are open to listen, but if this is not rooted in sound economics I would urge you to reconsider.  You should look at projects like DASH and PIVX to figure out block-to-node ratios as raised by the quoted comment.  You need to encourage holding by making the reward threshold large, but you should not leave smaller miners in the dust.  Remember your vision: reward miners.  Do not only reward whales.

2) Will you exclude your pre-mines from the threshold?  It seems like those shouldn't be rewarded, right?  That would be unfair to everyone else, as no one can compete with millions of SHAFT and you will get all the token.

Distribution
SRS tokens will be distributed through a smart contract which will reward every Shaft owner with SRS tokens accordingly to their shaft balance. Starting with deposits from 5,000 Shaft every miner would receive 8% yearly interest rate paid in SRS. An interest rate of 0,66% will be paid in SRS tokens every month. For example, if you own 10,000 shafts you will receive 66 SRS tokens every month. More SHAFT means more tokens!
