no pump, no dump. price rises to the moon by itself. truly a miracle in cryptoworld. Just organic growth (in USD terms) like over the past seven months. Though increasingly accelerated, since MSR is still highly undervalued and more people find out and get in steadily. Since Masari doesn't do marketing, there is no FOMO madness. The above quoted 100 sat happened only on 2-3 dips for very short time. And at that time BTC was at $20k, so MSR was not as cheap as 100 sat might look today. MSR in the early months was most of the time at several hundred satoshis and even more expensive in USD terms. It was pretty much all the time in double digit $cents, usually around 15-20 cents. Those 75x didn't happen (yet!) and at 60 cents today it is still dirt cheap, especially when seen in context with other comparable coins. |

v0.1.4 daemon won't sync anymore. First time this is happening. All peers show "state_before_handshake" in the console. Never had this issue with this version or any previous version in the past eight months. It still worked a couple of hours ago.
EDIT: Downloaded and ran v0.2.0 and it syncs.

Please remember everyone to write down your 25 word seed on a piece of paper so your coins will never be lost.
At best on three different papers stored in three different geolocations, e.g. at home, in your car and to your parents' home. Put the paper into tamper evident envelopes in all places and check them regularly, to be sure that no evil maid peered inside. And do not write down the name of the coin or its ticker symbol on the paper. You might also add words to the seed, e.g. 10 words ahead and 10 words after (just remember that). In case an envelope goes missing, e.g. stolen from the car, or in case you find an envelope at the backup geolocation tampered with, make sure to create a fresh wallet immediately and transfer all coins to it, since the old one must be considered compromised. |
