I guess the best answer to that question is of course a BIG NO! Granted, China is a big contributor for the rise and adoption of Bitcoin and they are primarily the country involved with Bitcoin mining due to very cheap electricity cost.
Now, the Chinese government has its own agenda and I think in the long run Bitcoin can be running against those agenda so they are now thinking of slowly disengaging and disconnecting their citizens away from the cryptocurrency platform.
I know that whatever China will decide on the impact can be heavy on the market and this is shown with the recent decision banning the ICO projects and the unconfirmed total ban of Bitcoin exchanges though it is still a rumor and nobody would want to confirm.
Can cryptocurrency still go on and have a very optimistic future even without China as part of the equation?
It is already proven ghat it won't. We can't hide the truth the when China banned exchanges, it made the market vaalue of bitcoin to fall. But is was able to recover and to climb its way up having a market value which is much larger than when China is still around Bitcoin. This is something to look forward with.

China has the biggest role for world economy and trade but in terms of the implementation and circulation of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies China has nothing to do with it. China is even one of the reason why Bitcoin price is now soaring to the sky like a rocket. There is no individual, company, state or government that can cripple or stop Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Because Bitcoin is decentralized, and it is controlled by the people.

bitcoin will not be destroyed from china, because bitcoin is a digital currency that is eager to be developed for future transactions, which means bitcoin will prevail and still remain intact in the future can not be destroyed because the demand and bitcoin demand is still very high.

No it is totally wrong because when the china have banned ICO in their countries then bitcoin holder will take tension they fear because they think that bitcoin is going to die but what happen bitcoin will start more and more improvement and the rate of bitcoin was increased from the present rate at which the china has banned ICO's which have also proof that no one can affect bitcoin.

You asking question and you also make your own answer. Its good to know your answer before continue asking the other opinion. I absolutely agree with your opinion, china is not the only country who work with bitcoin. Still any other country who believe amd using bitcoin. So big no that bitcoin will die without china.

lol, how could China kill Bitcoin and altcoins? If they ban Bitcoin, their investors, corporations will lose chances. This does not affect in Bittcoin value.
yes you are right that china can not effect the bitcoin but a little bit risk happened when they rejected bitcoin and also the price of bitcoin was goes down but that was not a big problem because bitcoin recover very rapidly and the price of bitcoin increases and shocked everyone.

It's verry imposible right.....? In my oppinion bitcoin can't die because of china , because there are many another countries still use bitcoin such as america , japan ect. even now more and more bitcoin users and the price continues to increase. It could have died but now with a lot of support bitcoin is back up. China did drop bitcoin very hard. Bitcoin lost 2k in his price, but after that it recoverd and it gained a lot of money in his price. So in short i it is not dead but maybe if some other country will ban bitcoin like india bitcoin would suffer again.

Bitcoin will not die because of China. China has no longer have the biggest share in bitcoin value, it's now Japan. And other third world countries are now participating in cryptocurrency just to improve themselves financially.

There is no way a single country can kill Bitcoin. Despite China previously having the highest volume and also the largest Bitcoin supplier, Bitcoin remains strong and made it back. Some companies even relocate to another country if they feel threatened.

I highly doubt that bitcoin would die just because of China alone. The thing is China is just one country. Although, it's population is high, still that is not enough to totally kill bitcoin. There are still a lot of bitcoin users from different countries.

China maybe could give some big impact if they SUDDENLY disappear from cryptocurrency world/ not participating again. But, Bitcoin enthusiast itself come from every region in this planet. So, what i thought is. Maybe bitcoin prices will go down in some way, but it will surely regain its prices again. because every single second in this world bring each new bitcoin user. that's what i thought and believe

Even if you cut internet in CHINA the difficulty will retarget in 1440 block (normally 15days). But if you kill 70% hash power it'll be like 1months or 2. After that the network will be fluid again.
