I cant understand why BTCZ and now BTG both equilhash based coins whats the difference between them both this is confusing for a small miner
Well, Bitcoin Gold is a work in progress to convert the bitcoin coin base to the equihash algorithm. It holds no additional features and no privacy updates. It has a large crowd of people who want to mine bitcoin gold with their gpu instead of asic. I hope Bitcoin Gold works out because it will bring a beautiful addition to equihash which was developed by Alex Biryukov and Dmitry Khovratovich, cryptographers at the University of Luxembourg. It is ASIC resistant. BitcoinZ is a fork of Zcash which has a bitcoin related heritage, BitcoinZ supports t1, t3 muktisig and z_address wallets. -t1 is a regular wallet with no intended privacy features. t3 is a multisignsture wallet which you can use or test out with the MyBitcoinZ application. z_address is a zero knowledge transaction meaning that it can “shield” or hide funds from view and giving privacy of transactions and balance held. None of these are new blockchain technologies but the BitcoinZ Community is aiming towards new comers or people interested in crypto currencies. I hope that everyone using BitcoinZ feels that they can easily access their coins and feels Confident in what BitcoinZ stands for; a decentralized crypto currency with no central entity. It’s important to have convenient public access for everything related to BitcoinZ. I know a lot of people 8000+ wallet installations are waiting for a more convenient exchange that has trust. One simple problem that is rather new and difficult for a community driven crypto currency is that a lot of coins or ERC20 ethereum tokens are doing ICO or “initial coin offerings” which raises up to millions of dollars and therefor paying large sums of money to exchanges to list their coin or token. I’ve personally reached out to almost all exchanges and they all requested 4-15BTC for listing. The listing should be free because they earn money from the fees for each exchange. I assume since BitcoinZ is growing so quickly that an exchange will pick it up soon. If you are wanting a roadmap feel free to read all 60 pages of this ANN thread or come visit https://connect.bitcoinz.global/ where most important information has been sorted. -hellomoto cheers for that info guys

yes I agree would be nice to have BitcoinZ on Blockfolio,I don’t think there is any costs associated with this only needing to submit coin to them, there list of coins and investment are vast with new coins added daily

They most likely don't have trading satoshi or cryptobroker in their coin list.

Thank you for this summary. It's a good read. It's a good overview of the features of BitcoinZ.

Decentralized coin.
Post your idea, show some progress and if the community approves they fill fund it. Reminds me of BTC.

Hi, A couples of days ago I made a donation for the exchanges listings of 100BTCZ. Not much, I know, but I am just a small GPU miner.
My wallet also reports a transaction for -100BTCZ.
When I looked today on the explorer there is a second transaction for 75BTCZ for a total of 175BTCZ?
Was this taken without my consent? Is a fee of 75BTCZ?
If it is a fee? Will we be charged 75% of every transaction?
Can you clarify this please? Not worried about the extra 75 BTCZ I don't mind a donation, but I want to know how this happened.
Thanks.

There is a little bug in USD conversion in Wallet. It's not correctely linked to real BTCZ value. It shows a much higher value. Other little bug: - it shows the same transaction two times. Anyway I am keeping mining it. Really simple with Suprnova ( http://btcz.suprnova.cc). This will be a really great coin.

I don't think this is intended. I have not done a "send payment" yet so I haven't experienced it yet. I am sure this will be clarified.

No. The wallet sends the remainder amount to another address that you own. Its not a transaction fee. Please don't make conclusory statements that are aimed to inflame the community. The tx fee's are 0.0001.
