I think this is ASIC world, not Bitmain nor Baikal.
ASIC does high profit in the first month or so, then difficulty grows, then profit goes down.
If it is still profitable after 3-4 months, it's a deal. Profitable doesn't mean 300-500 USD /day... $20/day is still profitable and more profitable than GPU mining.
Baikal COULD live longer than Bitmain D3, since it features more algos.
Open D3 thread and read about the same problem: they are doing $3-5/day using X11.

So, BGRUN was not right, simply this is ASIC world.

I'm not talking about difficulty or if it's profitable or not, i'm talking about honour, they are creating the problem, the machine is ok and the profitability too, but they are mining with our miners.

There's a delay on the first batch (15-25 Oct), and now it's 20 November, 35 days of delaying, difficulty skyrocketting, less profitability 80% .... .

I´m not expecting 10.000$/month as whattomine said at that moment, but it's a bad practice to power on our miners, it's not fair.

I agree with you, they should deliver fast when miners are ready.
It is also unfair asking for money 1-2 months before shipping, but this is what is doing any ASIC manufacturer.

I think all of us should send baikal a mail asking for delivery: maybe they speed up their job.  Wink

I would suggest we all band together in a International Class Action law suit, but it's China and we are just screwed.

https://www.reuters.com/article/china-lawsuits/u-s-lawsuits-against-china-companies-face-hurdles-idUSN1429211020110214

As a mining community though, I believe that we could (and should) flood social networking and forums to prevent anyone (or most) from buying the next round. This includes ASIC Miner Market by the way - probably more so than Baikal.

Yeah the real problem is we have no leverage. There is no way to force them to ship our miners and no way to force them to refund our money. All we can do is sit here and take it. All the bad publicity in the world won't stop miners from FOMO'ing and overpaying for shit that's profitable. I can assure you all of these resellers who are selling for double are having no problems selling their units. This is the stupid world we live in.

Sent yet another email. Has anyone chatted with them on skype regarding this delay?

Baikal on skype: We are shipping Batch1 "NOW". And asicminermarket is still mining with already sold products. That's real customer care! They test all products to be sure not send a broken Miner  Tongue

Hahahahaha, the most profitable tests in the human history?, they're mining with our miners and now we have to thank?. What's the meaning of "NOW"?.

I don't understand why you guys would expect any different? I mean come on, the logic is simple....

QUESTION: WHO WOULD SELL A MACHINE THAT PRINTS MONEY?
ANSWER: ONLY SOMEONE WHO CAN GET MORE MONEY FOR THE PRINTER THAN THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THE PRINTER CAN PRINT!

Stop giving your money to these bullshit companies AND THEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR ACTIONS! Everyone keeps doing the same thing over and over and over expecting different results  Huh Huh Huh Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Come on, they haven't even delayed shipment yet! Just wait, they'll have 'customs problems' and mine on your machines for another 30-60 days before shipping out.

The last time I bought an ASIC was Avalon batch 2! Don't get me wrong, it's tempting. But after having experienced bAsic, BFL, etc... I know better... No matter how tempting it is, I know i'm going to end up getting fucked in the end. I (and some engineers) developed an X11 RTL we were trying to turn into a X11 ASIC back in 2014?? No investors wanted on board! It was a "stupid idea"!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes -- Have to develop your own asic or stay out of the asic mining market -- but don't expect investors to invest.. They'll just waste your money having you fly all over the world for meetings that will inevitably be fruitless.

No one has it yet except ASIC Miner Market, and yes they are making awesome profit before shipping out.

I believe Baikal Giant 10x is real deal, I emailed them on the 12th and they responded on the 13th.
Nicehash added information regarding the giant 10x. Nicehash worked when i tested it out. What mining pools would be best to run this asics? If i run it on Nicehash you can set it up to switch mining algorithm for what is most profitable.

Thanks for your support on baikal.

Price: 1399usd/pc (shipping charge not included)
Delivery date: 20th December - 30th December.
Payment method: Bank transfer USD dollar Only
For this batch is no discount available.

I would like your feedback as i am new to mining crypto, I have a Canaan Creative Avalon 7 and have been experimenting with different pools. I am extremely new to mining.
