this ATS is a scam indeed. I work in a big company and registered at lunch time. and I cheated no one!

I guess these ICOs are getting greedy in the end and that is all this  is about!

make you feels like a slave!

will never look back on this coin again!

Shit scammers like that should be marked and all of their scam-shits-ANNs should be closed. Too much of this shits on forum.
I suspect that refferal system is scam. Never join referral system for bounty. you got nothing from refferal. No money from refferal, you are selling something not promoting. Promoting is different from selling. When you promote you don't have to sell but when you sell you should make someone purchase your products. Bounty is a kind of promotion strategy not selling strategy.

That's the other site he's involved with. Email them, ask them questions.

Give this idiot grief. Send a message and send it many times.

Harrassing them is one thing, and sometimes very satisfying  Tongue

Even more efficient: helping customers decide if they should use/trust these businesses...

Friendly, unbiased, but BAAAAD reviews of that book marketing site (it deserves bad reviews, anyways), and that car repair shop of Nolan (dunno if it is any good, but... lol)...

I am sure both will be a lot more famous in a couple days. Just not in a good way.

This type of people is immune to ethical judgment or logical reason - as they have proven in the (now locked) main thread, by their actions, and by that last, incredibly dumb and arrogant email update.

But they sure as hell understand when they LOSE BUSINESS.

It really seems that the entire thing was just a scam that this car repair man and his buddies came up with.  They got their money, astoundingly, and are abandoning the project.  What a disappointment.

Is this a scam or just a very badly managed airdrop?
I think it's just badly managed. This seems to be a genuine company, but it's clear that the airdrop is a complete disaster and will mean a lot of bad publicity which will hurt the project.

I agree with you. Its badly managed where many people who joined their campaign was left unpaid. I think we understand it because they did not want fraud but for those who are honestly doing the campaigns was also affected. I hope they resolved this problem so that it wont backfire to them. This is a good project.

Let's hope this is the case so that the ones that did receive the tokens are not left with worthless ones. Because of people who cheated, it caused a problem on how many tokens Authorship team planned on handing out. They might've already by mistake handed some out to those cheaters. Once they're handed out they can't be taken back.

I've got all my ATS, but i'm one of those who invested real money into their ICO. Now, i have thousands of ATS laying on my Ether wallet and all i can do with it is... dunno... Maybe print the page or something. There's no market and i doubt, that there will be a market. And if there will be a market, ATS won't start at 0,15 USD after gaining so much bad reputation.

But what makes me wonder is, that there are still hundreds of active transactions. Anyone knows, what exactly is happening at their end?

I also haven't received 400+ tokens from referrals. Badly managed or scam, it will create a bad image for this token.

Look closely. Most of the transactions when you monitor this token on etherscan are NOT any more from the original contract address.
It is mostly investors and the few bounty participants who got paid shuffling tokens around...

Activity from Authorship: close to zero, no further payouts.

Why would they, they invented those nonsensical bogus criteria for 'cheaters' for a reason - to eliminate 80-90% of the legit bounty participants.
The 'we pay everyone unless more than 3 signups per IP' that they emailed and posted on their site was another lie: as yesterday's email showed, they had a lot of other - technically stupid and invalid - criteria in place and killed off a ton of legit accounts right after we submitted our withdrawal forms...

They intentionally did not pay the bounty participants after they outlived their usefulness. Simple as that.

They just not expected the sort of backlash, reputation damage and other 'friendly consequences' that this sort of behavior has when a bunch of pissed off crypto nerds with pitchforks comes after them...  Grin

Hello,

It was brought to our attention that an increased number of users who did nothing wrong to justify a suspension have been market as so by our IP protection system.

We are extremely sorry for this and have decided to immediately correct this mistake.

Please bear with us for a couple days as we are in the process of changing the automated payment system that gave us all the failed errors.

Payments will begin to be processed starting tomorrow and are expected to be fully completed within a few more days.

Everyone that successfully completed our withdrawal form here http://authorship.com/withdraw/ will receive their tokens.

Thank you and once again, we are deeply sorry for the situation.

Sincerely,

Authorship.com Team

Let's see. After the last fake promises I do not hold my breath unless I see the tokens in my wallet...

But: 'progress'.  Cheesy

I am one of the many people that did not receive bounty reward. I have got an email that informs me that withdrawal request was received and will be processed within 2-3 days but nothing came to my wallet. I had 3385 tokens in total through referals, earned by posting on some local forums and I had signature here with bounty link.
So of course that I think that this ICO is a scam and I feel sorry for those people that invested some real money and ETH to this as I think that after all of this confusion and bad reputation that their money is lost.

I've seen others mention it, that they didn't know to complete a withdrawal form. We weren't sent a notification. I guess even with the email update just now we're still out of luck.

Last time I looked the form was still up.

You can complete it only ONCE, if you already requested payout couple days ago and try to re-submit it will give you an error.

But people who never requested their withdrawal might want to give it a try:
