Actually ats was never a scam.... Many fools don't know even how to add custom token and see their Balence... Even I had not received ats at first, then I msged Peter with my details... He then said that my ip has 5 accounts registered under it,so can't pay me which was absolutely true... Again after few minutes I got a msg and confirmation that 2500 ats was transferred despite of 2875 ats ... Removing those 5 registrations.... They are not scam... they recognized the hard work done by me  promoting the campaign but only problem was  nice had those 5 registrations done of family members...so they genuinely reviewd and awarded.... So First learn to add custom tokens and see ur Balence first ... Then msg them... After that blame them...

You are so correct, But some people out there pretend to be perfec and dont appreciate of What ATS team doing right now. ATS is doing righr what is wrong out there now, and all we need to do wait and calm.Leets use the word patience at this time.

Translation: you got lucky and got your tokens because you harrassed them, while people who just filled out the form correctly and thought they would be paid get nothing.

Now you bitch and make stupid assumptions in the hope to silence the majority that was NOT paid.

I and many others know how tokens work and how to look up transactions on etherscan even in case our wallets would act up (which they don't, I have the ATS tokens from my 'investment' in there, but no bounty tokens).

Just sit down and be happy you are among the minority that got paid.
Many people who were not paid have posted proof, addresses, proof of their promotional activities, proof they signed up with their FB and Twitter as additional legitimation, etc.pp.
Some unfounded claims and accusations don't make that fact go away.

Many fools who don't know what eth and cryptos had Tried to participate in the bounty campaign and tried to cheat... By entering wrong addresses in the withdraw forms and completely blocked the transaction nodes which resulted in thousands of tranfer failures for hours and days... despite of that... They still don't know how to add custom token and check their Balence and started shouting scam scam ....

Agree. How long does it take to see ATS on the exchanges?

It looks like the damage control troll brigade has arrived.

You can relax.

Nobody here has a boner for Authorship - unless they continue to screw us over.

We KNOW how to add custom tokens.
We KNOW how to check for transactions (or the lack thereof) on etherscan.io
Some of us HAVE ATS tokens already from the 'investments'.
Many of us have perfectly legit demands (personal signup, few legit referrals) that are unfulfilled, while obvious cheaters GOT paid, this was proven (and in some cases even admitted by the cheaters) several times.

FACT, and no amount of bitching will make that go away:

THEY DID NOT DISTRIBUTE TOKENS TO THE VAST MAJORITY OF BOUNTY PARTICIPANTS SO FAR.

Period.

If they do so now: fine.

So far we have seen nothing but excuses, outright lies, zig-zagging and lack of results.
So forgive me if I remain skeptical until actual tokens show up in our balances.
Nothing yet:

There is no brigade working for ats, it is such a unique project which is getting it's reputation ruined because of few scamsters.... unique projects like ats should be supported... But not get dumped because of few morons....they even started distributing to scamsters from the 20million tokens allotted to authors with no way left... That's their loyalty.... paying each and every bounty campaigner from first. .. and it takes 7 days time as they asked for manual sending instead of the automated sending

Cutie - I did not say the trolls are paid by ATS - 'haves' are always eager to bash 'have-nots', esp. when the value of what they have depends on the other dudes being silent.
I know Authorship looked like a unique project, that is why I supported (luckily had only scraps in my Ether wallet at that time, otherwise I would have invested more) and promoted them. Until they screwed up, intentionally or not, and started to zig-zag and lie.

And kindly back up your words with facts.

I posted the figures earlier, and anyone with 10 fingers or even less can do the math: when they announced the END of the payouts (before they back-pedaled, for the umpteenth time...), 8100 ether addresses had ATS tokens, that includes ~2000 investors, staff, and everybody else. Just the top 10  referrers from the leaderboard had MORE referrals than Authorship paid out so far...

'a few scamsters' - you are not making any sense.

Update: Currently we have 8884 addresses holding ATS tokens, as reported by Etherscan. So since their last apology they paid out a maximum of ~700 people.

Some people were trying to defend the value of their tokens with irrelevant points and nonsense. They acted like they didn't know about the Authorship's show in the last few days.

I also see that many are harvesting tokens from single 75 or 85 token holding accounts to single ones.
So it might end up with 15k transfers and 500 tokenholders.. lol

I will not stop other people from venting out their frustrations and telling their opinions.

This is just my side of the coin. I won't say it's a scam but I can say that they mishandled the situation. I say nobody is perfect but they could have done better.

I want the honest people to receive their well deserved coins as I have said in the thread when they announced that they'll rather be giving a book voucher.

I don't think that Authorship Tokens or ATS is a scam. It's just that they made a mistake in distributing the bounty for the people who participated on their bounty campaign. I received an email of their apology and they are now fixing the problem. I hope that they will fix it soon because they are now being labeled as scam. It can affect their coins in the future.

Well, they said that it's a network failure to double spend ATS even to scammer who exploit them.
I haven't received anything yet, but I don't think that Authorship is a scam.
Let the time answer this.

Thank Heavens I din't invest in them and I just tried their referral program. and sad to say i was one of those who got scammed by them. The start of  journey to altcoins is freaking bad. first the wallet that i used turned into a scam. this is the site first-eth.info  second this ats tokens. this is why in my experience btc is still the best and cannot be replaced.

yeah, crypto world is full of creeps. However, there are a LOT of legit actual 'altcoins', that do not deserve to be put on the same level as the 'ether tokens' which are way too easy to create and have attracted an insane amount of frauds (Authorship is by far not the worst, as much pissed as I am right now).

Actual altCOINS, like Monero, Litecoin, Zcash, Ether, heck, even Dogecoin  Grin are mostly legit and have proven their worth over a couple of years now. Agreed: Bitcoin is the 'Gold' of the crypto world - they were the first, yet they are totally useless for smaller payments due to the insane fees (hence the Bitcoin Cash fork and many projects like the upcoming Bitcache to make BTC useful again), and they are great for hoarding as long-term investment.

In everyday life I use Ether and Monero and a couple others way more than Bitcoin...

In other news: no news. Today's ATS payment run seems to be over already. A short one it was.
