@Andreas_CoinTracking
Do you plan to integrate a blockchain importer for the Polygon/MATIC network?

Hello, I am currently wanting to input trades from an exchange that isn't supported, but I had a question about this. The CSV and other types of importing provides errors so I thought of just doing it myself.

My question is, sometimes 1 trade has multiple entries due to filling and what time it was filled at. Can I add all those entries for that 1 trade (adding the fees as well) and make one singular entry on cointracking?

Example: I buy place an order to buy 1 BTC and I have 5 entries (on the exchange) that say I got filled for .2 with a second or so in between.

Instead of manually inputting 5 entries for that 1 trade, I simply add all the entries (which will equal 1 BTC)and the corresponding fees. For the transaction time, I would take an average.

Thanks and I hope this wasn't confusing of a question

@scatterbug
Yes, but we focus on Top15 coins in terms of market cap first. Thank you for your patience here.

@vampyz
Yes you can combine those trades into one entry.
If an API provides those data we would import all of them separately as it has different TradeIDs.

Thanks for the clarification Andreas. I thought there wouldn't be an issue with combining them into one entry, but I wanted to double check.

Exactly, however the exchange (oceanex.pro) isn't supported on cointracking. I tried importing CSV but it would never work.

Thanks again.

Hello again, while trying to fix my cointracking account I noticed there might have been a few errors.

For one, when fixing my VEN to VET swap, I read the article posted about how to do that and it says to look under the "cost" in the Gains page and then enter an entry (trade) to show the 1:100 ratio swap and then enter the asset value of the original costs of your VEN. However, when I go to that table and look for VEN, it shows a 0.009 under the "remaining amount" column rather than what it actually should be. Should I use the "cost" amount under VET and input that amount in the asset values for buy/sell to show no gain/loss has happened??

(sorry if that was confusing)

My next question is, my VET dollar earnings under "Summary" shows almost double what it's actually worth right now. What would cause this and how would I go about fixing this?

@vampyz
To check that we would need a ticket/E-Mail (support@cointracking.info) from you with your account username to check it individually.

Has anyone used Excel Power Query with the CoinTracking API, to import CT data into Excel?
I'm trying to set this up, but not sure how to meet the following requirements, from the CT documentation, using Power Query:
- Send your key and sign as http header.
- The sign is a HMAC-SHA512 message of the method, the nonce and the POST data, signed with your API secret.
- The nonce must be increasing for each call. We recommend to use UNIX time or microtime.

I've raised a ticket for this, but also posting here, in case other users have relevant experience.
I know we can use CryptoSheets, but I'd like to understand how to do this with Power Query.

I'd like to see more granular customization of the Dashboard. It would be great if I could remove content that is less relevant for me (e.g. Trade metrics, commodities) and replace them with things that are more relevant.

Here is my wish list:

Pie chart: Portfolio value per Asset Class (Real Currencies, Coins, Stablecoins, Commodities)
Pie chart: Portfolio value per Coin (note: excluding Stablecoins)
Pie chart: Portfolio value per Stablecoin
Pie chart: Portfolio value per Exchange
Total Margin Balance (This of course would require a way to track margin balances)
Pie chart: Margin Balance per Exchange

Also I'd like to see Stablecoins treated as a separate asset class on the "Historical Balance & Trade Statistics" Report.

Thanks!

Thank you for your previous reply. My Gemini API has been broken for almost one month.  When will the fix be released?

@Plenty
We are working on it. Thank you for your patience. For now add those transactions manually.

@asdsvsdf
Sounds feasible how to add it. We recommend to consult a CPA here.

If you sell some NFT (as we assume NFTs are crypto currencies) and get another currency for it it is a normal trade. The asset value for the NFT is the asset value of the crypto currency you get.

We suggest to use trade/groups and comments for NFT name details and use abbreviations for the tickers.

You just need to add a current price and add the transaction manually if they are not imported via ETH/BSC API. See https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000007203-entering-ico-coins-and-non-listed-assets/en

@Plenty
You are welcome.
If you have not done yet please send us a ticket or E-Mail (with account user name) about the issues you are facing with your GEMINI API.

Andreas, you previously wrote that you are working on a solution for this - it's been nearly one month and the Gemini API is still broken.

I am receiving the following error in Cointracking with automatic API inport for Gemini Exchange:

 (Error: Unsupported trade type: {"type":"AdminDebit","status":"Complete","timestampms":1612994178257,"eid":22593668290,"currency":"EUR",)

to be clear - I already deleted the failing API and created a new one, but the same error occurs.

I SPOKE WITH GEMINI: THEY SAID THE FOLLOWING:
"We now support Admin Credits and Admin Debits in our transfers endpoint but CoinTracking may not have added support for it."
THIS IS WHY MY GEMINI API KEY DOESN'T WORK WITH COINTRACKING!
please add support for it.

@Plenty
Yes, we are still on it beside many other tasks. Our understanding was that the API is working, just those few transactions with new type are not there.
We are working on this now with priority. Thank you for your further patience.

With your new way of doing ETH Wallet addresses it says that we should delete our existing jobs and transactions and then re-import them all. I have made a lot of changes to those transactions to make sure they are correct, so if i delete them all and re-import i'm going to lose it all. Is there a way i can tell which transactions i have manually adjusted? or should i just keep all the existing transactions and then recreate the ETH Wallet import and only start it importing from todays date?(or will that not work correctly with the way you are now doing the imports?)

@theratears
If you are happy with your transactions and balances there is no need to re-import them. You can just add a start date to your ETH wallet job(s). Then only transactions after this date will be imported.

This is the logic we implemented for LP:
How are Liquidity Pool transactions imported? (https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/29000038185-how-are-liquidity-pool-transactions-imported-)

I've deleted all my metamask transactions and then imported them again with the new method, i now see a lot of provide liquidity transactions but i dont see any Income(non taxable) Liquidity Token entries. Are these transactions dependent on something for them to be displayed?

No, they should be there if you had them. To check that in detail the wallet ID + transaction hash would be helpful via E-Mail (support@cointracking.info) or ticket.

With the new ETH Wallet import do you now display the tokens that are in LP pools on the main dashboard? For example if i have 5 WETH and an LP pool i never used to see that on the main dashboard but i now see it, could this be why my totals are out?

Hi,

I want to understand correlations between the approx 40 coins I own.
To do this I need to get daily price data for each coin for a given time period - probably the last 50 days.
What's the easiest way to get this from CT?
