I’d like to request the addition of a feature to support the import of ETC wallets similar to what you have with ETH wallets.

The free API at https://api.gastracker.io/v1/addr/{ETC address}/transactions provides for an easy way to get all ETC transactions associated with an ETC wallet address. It is described at http://help.gastracker.io/support/solutions/articles/36000000899-list-of-transactions-api

Alternately, Gastracker also provides a public RPC endpoint compatible with Ethereum Web3. You can use it from https://web3.gastracker.io as described at http://help.gastracker.io/support/solutions/articles/36000000934-public-json-rpc-api

I would also like to see ETC added to cointracking.info.  The Ethereum Classic Blockkchain is a multibillion dollar market cap and has been in operation for nearly 18 months now.  Please add ETC today, (I am an Ultimate member and desparate, actually to complete my taxes).  The poster above has already shared with you good resources to get you started.
Dude their wallet support is non-existent. I would not count on this being added any time soon.

Man, I'm a fan of CoinTracking, but it's time they step up their game. I became a Pro member in December when Blockfolio seemed to be their only competitor. As I started doing more and more trades, Blockfolio became unmanageable, so when I learned about CoinTracking and it's advanced analytics features + API support, it seemed exactly what I was looking for. That was only 3 months ago. Since then, many new competitors have sprung up, and they are offering a lot more functionality and productivity for much lower prices. Some of them get new updates every single week. Meanwhile, CoinTracking hasn't had any noticeable updates or new features at all in the last 3 months (just take a look at their 'Updates and New Features' page and you'll see how empty it is). Why are BNB fees still not calculated properly? Why is there no API support for OKEX, the biggest exchange in the world? Why are some imported coins not given the correct ticker automatically (like BCC->BCH and NEB->NEBL on Binance)? Why are minuscule negative balances like -$0.01, which are almost always a result of not properly calculated fees, not automatically recognized as 0, so these weird balances can be hidden on the balance pages? Most of this stuff seems to be very easy automate. I was very enthusiastic about CoinTracking in the beginning, but now I'm using it less and less, because every time I import from an exchange, whether it's through CSV or an API, there are so many errors that I have to identify and solve, that it's actually a lot faster to just type my balances correctly into an Excel sheet with a connection to CMC. So far I'm disappointed in my purchase, but my subscription still has 9 months left, so I hope they come up with some good stuff in the upcoming months.
You mention some competitors in the beginning and finished post with entering data to excel ... so are any viable competitors except excel+cmc? I am very disappointed of cointracking too, but still using it because don't know how to replace it

I got the unlimited version of this product to import my 20,000+ Poloniex trades. A mix of exchange/and margin trades. The ending calculations arent even remotely correct and they dont let you import borrowing fees.... so if you did margin trades, this product wont be accurate. I told their support a few weeks ago about the fees causing miscalculations and they said they would pass it along to their developers. Still no update.

are there any links for manual spreadsheets that can do similar to what cointracking does?  The site has so much information and is quite expensive for a small timer after the first 200 entries.

I need some help with exporting my trades for tax purposes

Is there any way to export both the trade prices (in fiat) AND the trading fees (in fiat/crypto) in a single Excel sheet?

I can't figure out how to do this but I need the fee information separated.

Thanks!

I recently shared all the information I have entered into CoinTracking with my accountants and they told me that it is a very good program which tracks the information they need very well. They believe that once we are finished with this year's return as well as amending some previous returns where I should have reported crypto-activity but didn't, filing taxes from here on out should be very easy as far as the cryptocurrency activities go. So I just wanted to give a shoutout. Buying the lifetime unlimited CoinTracking membership a few months ago has turned out to be one of the best investments I've ever made.

I am currently importing/scrapping quotes from Investing.com into Excel. Inside Excel, I'm using VBA script to call out to the website and bring back the data. It's messy and needs a lot of attention as the data can and does shift around on Investing.com's site. I use it for my day job with EUR/USD and GBP/USD fowards data, but it can be done with other pairs too as Investing.com has a good amount of Crypto data.

I found just about everything I need to do it at Stackoverflow. It's not that complicated, but it's not exactly intro-Excel either.  And even though I could do it myself in Excel, I paid for the the premium membership in Cointracking - sooo, sooo much better.
Good luck

I posted this on Reddit, but doesn't seem like there is a lot of traffic:

CoinTracking (Coinbase API) says Key Invalid.

I've recently purchased Cointracking and I followed the instructions and gave only read access that it needed to the newly created API Key. On the site it says "Key Invalid" next to the API key I've created and entered. I've also deleted it and added it back, as well as creating another API key and adding that with all read access. They all come back as Key Invalid. Is there an issue or something I'm missing? I've added API keys many times before to other configuration files and sites.

Any help would be appreciated.

I just went to CT, I too have an "Unlimited" account, and found that when I went to my Coinbase API it had a red "Key Invalid". BUT, when I hit the "check now" button, it worked, and the Key invalid went away too.

Thanks, I wonder if they are having API issues, I was using another service and it keeps timing out to Coinbase.

Just tried again and still getting Key Invalid, which I know isn't the case. I wish there was more feedback. Frustrating to pay for it, and immediately run into an issue with a 5 day backlog on support.

Issue fixed - it was a a browser issue of all things. Did not work correctly in Chrome (most likely do to an extension) It did work in Safari... odd!

Is there a how-to for the correct way to track Coinbase in CoinTracking using their API keys? I've imported my information but I know I'm missing some steps on to accurately account correctly going back a few years involving deposits, purchases etc. Coinbase takes transfers to different addresses as sells, but for accounting/tax is this the correct way? I'm just looking for a how-to guide on using Coinbase with APIs. If I must I'll use the csv files and follow a how-to as well.  Thanks

My Ethereum balance on CT for Poloniex is WAY off. Anybody know the cause? In fact most of my balances on CT are way off for Poloniex, Binance and Bittrix.

One suggestion:
Once you upload your trades to CT, either by API or by CSV/Excel file, you need to reconcile your CT accounts with the exchange history, in this case Coinbase. This can be tricky because you don't have a "bank like statement" to balance against. But you need to look at your balances and trades to make sure they are uploaded correctly and try to tie them out.

With Coinbase you'll need to export each Wallet's history to Excel. The Coinbase exchange reporting is horrible and basically you have to construct your own statements and get them to tie to Coinbase.   I exported all the data and then sorted it by date got it into columns that matched CT and printed it.

Then I exported the Exchange history in CT to Excel. Once you have both reports you can start the painful process of "ticking and tying."

I upload all of my accounts, both with the API and manual CSV, and check them weekly to make sure the transactions are right and complete. (I'm an accounting manager - same thing my staff does with our company accounts too, although that's not with this software and not with cryto, just the same concept). Reconcile, Reconcile and Reconcile. I have just over a 1,000 transactions in the last quarter, and an good amount of capital invested (at least for me >50, <100), 5 exchanges (Coinbase, Bitfinance, etc.), 10 wallets which don't have APIs, with a bunch of mining activity.

Yes - I've put the hours in to balancing everything, and it took hours. So is this the greatest accounting software I've ever used, no. But it does a darn good job of tracking everything. Come tax time, everything was there.

Like most complex accounting activities - it takes time and reconciliations!
Good luck

1. If you delete a trade, imported by either CSV or API, will it come back again when updating?

2. Tax report: I get an errror (and this message: "There is no suitable purchase to this sale (all purchasing pools consumed). Assuming purchase on the same day for 0 USD.") on all my EUR deposits to Kraken (from my bank account). Seems like CoinTracking sees them as "gifts" or "free money", which makes sense, since I haven`t imported my regular bank`s transactions... So, the initial deposits have come from the skies, and are then naturally seen as pure gains. But how to fix this in the tax report? My gains are way too high now.

personally id just subtract the initial EUR value from the total gains

if you find a better way be sure to advise me

Oh look. Delta just released their new Exchange connector and it supports Binance. Without specifying each trading pair. And it's automatic!

Yet my paid cointracking still doesn't...
