Right now there are many ICO's which are considered as scam. But still, there are few that are legits. I guess you will just have to identify which one is a scam and which one is legit through there goals and visions.

Well I agree with postion that says : If now so much ICO wasn't be a scam we don't talk about that" . ICO it's just new way of crowdfunding and like every new things on market there are a lot of scammers around here. Especially if we mention about rules I mean that there are new clear rues out there. Some countries try to make it clean but I think before that I lot of companies steal people's money from ICO and some ICO's make real projects and money.
ICO projects are created on the basis of blockchain. Blockchain technology is known to be decentralized, and then requires that it be anonymous, and does not drain anyone. Therefore it is semi-legal. And what can easily dispose of it. You need to study the project carefully to see all the details. If you plan to join any ICO program or project, you should be able to teach yourself about how to really work to avoid embezzlement in the end. There are many ICOs in the crypto world, you have to be more careful in winging because not everything is legitimate. You must read their perfect whitepaper and be managed well by a good team.

That an ICO is completed and listed successfully does not justify its legibility. So you have to research critically well into the team and what they claim to achieve in the whitepaper before investing into it.

Choosing an ICO better to check first who are the people behind. Check their credential if they legit and able to sustain the project. And, check the project if it feasible or not.

I've seen a good ICO, but there are already white lists closed. Just rumors, social networks with their help learn about promising projects.

It's a nonsense question: there are certainly ICOs who are scams, but others that are legitimate and can make good money, even in a moment of depression like this. The important thing is to choose wisely and stay away from the most obvious scams.

It can not be denied if there is goodness there must also be ugliness that will become a bully. As with the ICO, there are ICOs who are indeed responsible and earnest in carrying out their projects and there are also ICOs that are only fraudulent. Therefore, as smart crypto players, we should be careful when choosing a good ICO. We can determine whether the ICO is good or not after we deepen the whitepaper and the ICO website. We can then make an analysis such as SWOT analysis to find out whether the ICO really has a high chance of success.

ICO is legit, they are used to have a crowdfunding to back up a potential project for the future. But there are many people who want to abuse the ICO that turned out to be a scam. they will just launch their own ICO make some website and anything that needed once their pocket is full they will run with the funds collected. so better to study the team and the project first before investing.

To determine whether an ICO is a legit or scam, most importantly adequately research must be perormed by going through the information that are available about them. You can also check the reviews or what it is all about on that ICO at the icobench website, or you can also check the ICO's own website.

So many ICOs coming up of which almost 70% of them are scam and the rest are legit. You just need to do your research before investing in altcoins.

Hi Guys,
Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some. ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?
Thanks in advance.
Many of the projects are scam and it is difficult to choose the right one for investment. First of all you need to pay attention to the authenticity of the team and documents, and then analyze the possibility of implementing the idea.

Even if all the criteria are 100% create confidence that the ICO is not a Scam, the chance to get a Scam is still present. And no one is immune from this

The website that the ICO's have usually have very little information on what their project is about. You should research the Whitepaper.

Jackpot is the second name of an ICO’S. If you find real ico’s then it sure make you rich even within 6 months or less. Here is the same things go through make it scam. Since the big risk involved then you must need to find some information about your ico’s which you are going to invest. If you are novice about how to find or select an ico’s for invest then you can take help from ico’s involved sites, blog and forum. From my own experience, almost 90% to 95% Ico’s are scam.

You know what the reality today is there are a lots of ICo which is only a scam... A lot of them are reported only to be one of the scam project... But not all ico's are scam only there are a lots of ICO's which we can consider as a legit one... You know what though there are a lot of scam ICO still if you know how to handle well your decision in choosing best ICO's you will not regret at last... The only thing we need to do is to make our best decisions in participating ICO's....

I think that most of the ICOs are legitimate although there may be some which are scam and may only be hiding as legit ones. In choosing ICOs we need to look for the ones that are back up by reliable individuals.

ICO is a legit way to investing, you should not ask about it. The problem is, the company running ICO is scam or legit, that is the question. There were many scam ICOs in 2017-2018, many investors lost their money. for example you can look at Titanium blockchain, a scam project that raised about more than 30mil dollars.
