if you want to invest in ico you should find out where the project came from and whether there is a clear identity about the ico. if it is already there you just need to examine how big the potential of the project. If you already believe in the ico project, try investing in it. for the profit problem it gets depends on how good the project is invested

The increased popularity of ICOs has unfortunately drawn a lot of scammers to the field. The more time you spend researching ICOs, the easier it will become to distinguish honest ICOs from Scams.
You need pay attention to the whitepaper, the actual project and how it will be used and the team members. This will also help you identify potentially good projects, over projects that are not well structured.

Any ICO project should be legally registered in your state if you do not have this in the white paper mean this project is automatically a Scam.

Not all ICO are scam, most of them are legit and have good potentials to give maximum return on investment. you need to do your own due diligence and pick the legit ones.

It has been treated as scams in some countries such as the usa, china, But I do not think so, I think it is a good way for common people to join in the project investment, also good project can raise enough money for development.

ICO's can be identified as legit and also scam, for we have ICO's with a well-trusted company and the thing here is for you to observe carefully which ICO is safe so that you are not going to be scammed.

Sometimes that is very hard to determine. But one thing I have learned is that when they do scam some people they will eventually scam everyone.

There are both many scams and legit projects out there. For example, my current portfolio consists of Monero, Redchain, Giftz, and Titanium. Check them out and let me know what you think.

ICO is legal, and no one guarantees ICO, because many ICO projects are scams, and most developers become greedy when they get enough money.

The best way to do this is to do some research and take the time to invest in an ICO.

Many of the 531 ICOs that failed last year looked like a futuristic concept from the very beginning. In most cases, seasoned investors could identify signs of a scam and be cautious. Since the ICO mania does not show any signs of easing, there is no reason to believe that this year the Crowdsley will be better off.

i think that only some ICOs are really good,  legit and the others are very dangerous to invest because we can do research on any information about the ICOs but we are not sure that 100% information is true

Not all ICO are scam. A lot of ICO are good and you can profit a lot from them. If you want to invest you have to check their team, read whitepaper and talk to team if possible in order to check if they are real people or not. It's my opinion.

Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.

I want to say if there are some who are scams and some are not. The best thing to do before joining and investing into ICO is checking the platform itself and the people behind it in particular. You need to consider the team of function objectives and ICO strategies you want to follow so as not to be fooled.

ICO project will be very beneficial if it happens as expected by all people and there is no technical error or lie in it because all ico projects issued would want to provide benefits to all parties associated with it

80% of ICO projects are deceptive, and nowadays many projects are like the stars in the sky. To make the right choice from them is to spend a lot of time on their own, to understand the content of the project and understand their team. Can there be real technology, but also pay attention to observe whether the project team is doing something seriously!

Its hard to differentiate ICO scams and the legit ones. Well, I think that most of the ICO's out there were legit, you just need to do some research before investing to one. Read the whitepaper,  the road map, and join their community, you can also find a lot of ICO reviews out there on the internet

Nowadays most of the ICOs are scams but it could not be said that all are scam because some of them are legit. It depends upon that how someone choice ICO.

I would suggest doing a serious due diligence before taking part in an ICO. Follow their social channels, go to their Bitcoin Forum - Index thread to see what the community has to say about them. And the best way to determine if an ICO is worth participating in is by doing due diligence and researching them.
