There will be always a scammer in any field so be careful investing your money without checkin its background. There are some criteria to look for before engaging in ICO, they should have a good leader and dedicated team to gives support to their investors no matter what problem the company is facing. You should check its name and user feedback in some forums or community because you will get a hint whether it is a scam or not.

It's a gambling you never what it will turn out after the ico, there are some ico who lives up to our expectation some who cannot generate support, some just die down so you must know when to still hold on and when to sell it's a vicious cycle but there are profit to be made if you know how to play this game.

ICOs are a legit, only a few ICOs are scam, that's why you have to be careful and do a research first before you join into an ICO, you just can't join every ICOs you see in the thread, that's how you avoid join a scam ICO

All the complexity is that not just determine what ICO will be in a consequence is good and what is scam. Even experienced people are not always hooked to do it.
