63% of countries have favorable or mostly favorable regulation of cryptocurrencies out of 60 states studied. This is a very good sign for the industry. Unified guidance sure is the best, but it is not possible, due to the differences in ideologies, economy situations etc.

The regulations are a good way to prevent scam projects, in this way only good projects live, which is a win-win for both good projects and investors.
The most important thing is how to tread a very fine line with these regulations, to build a healthy cryptocurrency market and meanwhile not hinder the development of it (Like Basis protocol, it raised 133M but stopped by SEC and now they are totally ended). So obviously, there is not a balance now for this...

For me, ICOs are not so crazy now, last year we see a lot of scams, only concept, no prudcts/technology, even write whitepaper from freelances onlines....

However, if you are interested in the blockchain projects that have the most potential I would say would be these 5:

1. BitTorrent
2. Marconi Protocol
3. Historia
4. StarkWare
5. Oasis Labs

for me ICO is now a lot of fraud, now I will never take ICO or participate. I determined the ICO was successful seen from the sold-out sales tokens. minimum softcap. if ICO fraud is usually the website cannot be accessed.
I agree with you that successful ICO will usually sell most of their tokens but still have fraudulent projects, they will fake it and we can't know and control it! If cryptocurrency has more strict rules, it will help us a lot

Although ICO brings the best profits, it is a very risky option to choose. I would better trade, and spend a lot of my time on these activities but I will be sure that my work will be finally rewarded. Holding is also good.

I I should say, I will say that not all ICOs are legit and not also all ICOs are scam, there are some ICOs that have great reputation out there and they are doing well.
well, for some projects, of course some ICO projects are still worth fighting for, but it cannot be denied that there are still some ICO projects that are trying to cheat investors. some ICOs are still legit, and some ICOs have the potential to scam. You must really choose the project that you support.

Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.

You should try to see Daxico because it is currently handled by julerz which is today's best bounty manager, and through that, I can assure that it was good and checked by him so invest to daxico.

The ICO itself are not a scam, only the people who runs an ICO are the ones whom are scammers.

yes find out in detail because it can help you in your knowledge and know about the project you choose. it's all important to start the project because to avoid fraud and so on that can make you fail in running the project.
ICO is currently having a hard time getting opportunities because of various things.

Many ICO have been scam because not trusted owner, when their ICO have success for get hard cap but always delay for listing on exchange market, many ICO faced the same problem with lower price after listing on market. How ever we need trusted owner for making ICO success not only at ICO time but also have finished for listing at market have higher price and make all investor have participated at ico investment got profit.

For daxico exchange, I could not find information about this team's dev exchange. And their exchange is too simple and does not guarantee confidentiality, He has managed many good campaigns but for daxico, I don't trust it

The activity of the initial issue of coins (ICO) is not yet regulated by the states, therefore it cannot be fully considered legitimate. However, as not prohibited by states, it can be carried out quite legally. Now many states are working on the creation and adoption of regulations to regulate this type of ICO activity. These are countries such as Japan, Russia, France, Germany, Australia and others. I hope that the new rules will come into force soon and then the activity of the ICO will gain a new life.

Bringing the name of the campaign manager does not guarantee that the ICO you are recommending is legitimate and can be totally trusted. If I will to choose an ICO, I would rather do my own research and not ask for someone's opinion to avoid confusions on my decisions.

The ico cycle is currently not good and there are a lot of dead projects. so in my opinion this is not the right time if we want to invest in ICO or buy tokens. it's better to save our money for other things that are more useful

In general, no, I can say not, some ICOS are doing great in the market, they are paying their bounty hunters, they are gaining profit also their investors and thats the reason why there's still some.

I suggest you to invest in ICO's that has a good bounty manager because they only choose those ICO's that won't waste their time in promoting their projects. As I noticed in those bounty managers who running a different projects they were not choose to participate the projects that has no potential to grow in the future.

It's a good advice considering the scams around the crypto space.

With good bounty manager, you can expect that they will choose a legitimate project to promote.
You can trust them to do the research so it's vital that you look also on who will manage the project.

Now, who are good bounty managers?

That remains to us if whom we will trust but I suggest that we do select those who are trusted in the community, especially when trusted by DT or would be better if it's part of the DT. There are a lot of bounty managers right now but not all of them can be trusted, just like the ICO, you can't trust all.

I always check the team members first and whether they've actually talked about their project in public.

Not every ICO is a scam. There are still some great projects on the market that are worth investing, but the problem is that people are not ready to invest their funds on the falling market. We need a market change to see a better situation.

Another Epic throwback post, the answer to your question is that not all ICOs are genuine, you have to select the wheats from the tars there are so many ICOs out there and but precious few of them would turn out to be genuine.

Anyway you might have encountered something bad with ICOs but believe me, there are still lots of good ICOs out there with a good use case. There are ICOs that you can make good profit from but you really need to do research. I know there are also scam projects which one should stay away from
