Base on my observation ico is good but not all is good. The best way to determined wether its good for investment us to determine the credibility of the development team behind the project.

Some scam ICO's makes us to thing about the ICO, but some of them are fake and most of them legit ICO because each one has different innovative thoughts which they can deliver the product to their supporting community.

ico is not as fraudulent as you have said, unless some individuals have used it to steal property for illicit purposes, and those will be punished so you should be ahead of time. when choosing the ico.

I think it's best to invest in an ICO project with a gaming or real estate platform. Choose also his famous campaign manager. then to see if the project is scam or legit. Can be seen from the total sales that have been achieved. If softcap has been reached, the project may be running. But still must be checked in the wallet project, whether the numbers in accordance with the ones listed on the website or not. because it is important to do a transaction check on the project wallet.

There are some legit one that have good team and idea but there are some that are seemed to be scam, so you have to do research such reading the whitepaper of the project you want to get involved with. Actually all investments are risky and you should research the team background to avoid scammers.

Some are scams and some are legitimate. You just have to do a background check on the developers of the said ICOs. Check carefully before indulging in any ICOs to ensure you will benefit from it.

It’s really hard to distinguish a legal project from scam now. I think that the project team must have at least MVP before going to ico.

Theres no way you are going to be able to determine whether an ICO is a scam or not cause the scammers are getting smarter and they know how to hide their scam. They make a pretty white paper, upload nice dev profiles, pay shills to hype their project and do anything that will make them look legit and than after collection the ICO money they just exit scam.

Ico is illegal in China and the us. Whether it is legal or not depends on the country's policies. If you want to know if ico is a scam, I think you should read all the information. Knowing more information can reduce your risk.

You can find the link in my signature. This is a project that stands confidently on its own feet. It has a good clever team and an understandable position. They understand what they will do next and how they will do it.

Some are legit and some scams, and there is new problem is this case, that very often good projects suffer, as investors allocate there funds to the scams. This is not very good to crypto industry.

Most of them scam, so I try to invest in only that ICO which have a good team of members which have a long time experience in these field plus they are already members of successful ICO. This tends to increase trust in their system and also note their market potential and idea as it also help the ICO at the end.

I do not trust all these serial entrepreneurs. Who have 3-5 companies for the last few years.

Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.

There are so many ICOs out there that is not a scam, while there is a mere fact that 80-90% of them is a scam. The very best example of a good ICO is Binance, you can look at www.coinmarketcap.com it is on top 21 of the best coin out there. You just need to review or scan first on what is the purpose of the ICO, is the team behind it is real? Are they working hard to make the project success, you can also ask here in BTT for comments or suggestion on the coin you want to invest.

It's hard to identify which ICO is legit and which one is scam,  but it is true that many  ICO's are scam so  we really need to scrutinize  on which ICO project we will join.

There are indeed many scams in the ICO project, and for this reason, ICOs have been banned in my country. Even if many ICO projects are legal, it does not mean that it is not risky. Therefore, investing in ICO projects really needs to do more research.
