Most of the new ICOs are scam projects but not all of them,so you need to do serious research before entering ICOs or you will get rekt.

It depends. Some are scams and some are legit. There's no surefire way to know but sometimes the signs of a scammy ICO is as bright as day. Just be sure to do your research as much as you can, and see what people have to say about the ICO. Just be sure to do enough research that you'll be able to decide for yourself and not someone else's opinion.

Sadly most of them seems to be scam. People are creating fake projects to gather people's money and then get away with it. Personally first thing i check is the team who created the ICO. I search them online and check their previous business experiences. If they are well know people or they participated in successful campaigns before this is a big plus. Because that kind of people afraid of losing their reputation.

There are legitimate ones and there are fraudulent ones. The catch is not all real ICOs end up successful, a lot of it still fails. This is the reason why investing in ICOs is even more unsafe than investing in coins. Investing is just by the means of pump or dump while joining ICOs have 3 possibilities. It could be real and successful, real but unsuccessful and fake. There is 67% chance that you will lose money and only 33% chance of gaining. That's the sad reality.

Legit ICO is like finding water in a huge dessert because when you thought that you see a water, it is just basically a mirage that was formed. Same can be applied to ICOs that you thought it was the one and legit but it was really a scam right from the start.

We know that almost 70% of the ICO are scam, some companies' goal is to scam and the others is only because they did not achieve the soft cap they aimed. The thing you need to do to determine if the ICO project is scam or not, is do a research. Try to research about their development team specially their whitepaper. Other bitcoin-ers strategy is they only join the company once the soft cap is achieved. Some companies are obvious scammers, you;ll know immediately if they're scammers or not.

Honestly, It's hard to recognize if it is a scam or legit. But the only thing you can do is research about the ICO before you invest and read more information about the developer.

Hard to find good ico in these day. I saw many ico have high paying bounties program to promote their ico, after rising lots of money, they go away and left the project.

Investing in ICOs is one of the best ways to get profit. However, it is hard to find out the good ICO now. The target of the project, the method to do and the experience of the Devs, the advisors are some important things you must research before buying tokens. Good luck to you
