I don't think anyone expected $1 (at least I didn't). I was expecting that the news will be roadmap and whitepaper because the team already said they'll release those documents this week. The price probably could have gone up if it weren't for the sell wall at 0.00051887 ETH. But this pump and now dump has given me 30% more eBTC than I had this morning  Grin

Interesting. I have a little bit of faith in this dev team...considering I hold about 4k of their token. What do you guys think, is the next major milestone?

So the price spiked to .20 but now is dropping back to around .10 cents.

Is someone screwing with the natural progression of the price? I was really hoping this would have broken $1

Yeah it's definitely a "smaller" pump and dump group. They bought at 20-23 last day and sold at 50-40.(0.0002)

I see. I'm not going to consider selling this token until it hits $5.

Speaking of which, anyone know why eBTC isn't registering on Blockfolio? I have alerts set up just in case any one of my holdings pulls a UNO, but eBTC refuses to load the correct prices.

Answering common fud:

Is it a scam?

This is a community project now. Far bigger than the previously thought to be mysterious "devs"
The originals could disappear tomorrow and it wouldn't change a thing. Many volunteers are participating from around the world.

Why is it different from Bitcoin?

It's not different, you can consider it to be Bitcoin but better. There are many technical code analysis that I can mention here to prove that it's better but for the common person just understand that it's faster and it's cheaper in transactions.

Lol it's definitely a scam, just look at all the other e-shit coins out there. Am I right or what? Where's my beer...

Firstly don't define a scam by the first letter in its name. That's crazy silly. The e stands for Ethereum. This is a tokenized version of Bitcoin on the Ethereum blockchain and, therefore, uniquely complements both.

This is a pump and dump token, happened before and will happen again.

Indeed this and many other projects that are legit projects with a hard working team have "pumped & dumped." That is sadly the nature of many projects as soon as they hit the market. There are many vulture investors looking to make a quick buck and don't have long term goals. Luckily this project has survived the initial dump and there's no guarantee that another group of hungry vulture investors won't come around once it gets more notice. This is the nature of the early stages of virtually every crypto these days (check the graph of virtually any token), except for those who manipulate the price to prevent a dump. Not us, we are a free market. eBitcoin will prove its value to the market and will eventually be a long term hold for many, which should stabilize the price and keep it at a steady increase.

Who the hell are you anyway?

...if I told you, you'll be tempted to invest based on my recommendation.

Why is it different than any other ERC20, those are so simple my mom can make one.

I love your mom, she's awesome. eBitcoin holds a very important brand name, and it will carry it forward. Because of this brand recognition, the enthusiasm and community participation around this is far greater than any other ERC20 when comparing at the early stage of the project's life.

I am humored with people selling right now. eBTC has yes to do one thing for me and that is disappoint.

Good luck buying your position back when we take off again. I think we can make it back to .50-.80 this week maybe even further. Just keep selling so I can pick up your tears

Probably much more volume not to mention actual development and progress. Dont look to get listed on Polo first look to smaller exchanges like bitgrail, bleutrade, liqui, nova, cryptopia. These are more manageable now

We need Coinexchange to add this coin. EtherDelta is a joke.
A few traders are there manipulating the price all day.

I'm following the development of this tokens and I see that the team is really determined to make this project a success. But the biggest challenge with excepting this token as payment is volatility of crypto market. Merchants like stable currency because they can't afford it's value to drop 25% over night. If you look at the most popular fiat currencies (USD and EUR), it's value is pretty stable.
