I would not say bitcoin is an gambling personally,
It all depends on how you use your bitcoins, the
purpose of bitcoin is to invest for the future to get
more profit on your investment.

Well, Bitcoin is *not* gambling. Its clear as day, its digital currency that will reshaping a new world. Its new technology, people still look at the potential out of it. Therefore, you've heard a lot of speculation about it. It same with internet in the early 90, we dont know yet what we can do with that for the sake of humanity. But once the Bitcoin technology and adoption are mature enough, you will smile to yourself  Trust Bitcoin! |

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Bitcoin itself is not, but investing is. Investing your money and converting it to bitcoin is a gamble cause you risk your money in investing in a volatile currency. There's a chance of winning and losing so basically it's gambling. |

very true, it is hard to see bitcoin as gambling, because there is no element in it. this is the development of technology, if bitcoin is considered gambling means our thinking is still ancient. this is an investment of the times I know it's not gambling and I act responsible in day trading and altcoin trading. I never take excessive risk and I protect my budget by the way. This is the way of surviving on crypto markets now. |

It depends on what you do with your Bitcoin. If you buy it and just hold it (hoping for the price to climb) then you are in fact gambling or betting on a price increase. Many people that bought in Dec or Jan are currently losing that bet. However, if you for instance trade (buy and sell over and over for noobs) Bitcoin then you are strategically making money with your Bitcoin. If you sell for more then what you paid... there is no gamble (other then the price dropping after you buy of course). That's what stop loss is for but that's another thread.

there may sometimes be some assessing the bitcoin gambling, but if they learn in detail, many of the benefits derived from bitcoin. all of that will feel the same if you really understand the vision and mission bitcoin.

Investment is for the future. Internet is for the future. Money is in the moment also for the future. Business is active at the present and in the future. Gambling is business at the present and gambling in the future. People misunderstood bitcoin coz they don't know what bitcoin is and what its advantage and disadvantage. Without the proper understanding to btc people will end to mislead. They though it is gambling and yes they are right, but not indeed bitcoin. In bitcoin almost all aspect of business project can be found and find in this crypto world. From space to land form of business. Almost everything including gambling is here.
