If bitcoin incorporate the smart contracts i dont see eth being able to keep alive for a long period at all, eth has reached its current value due to smart contracts and due to the several ICO that are using those feature to make their projects live, but this party will end sooner or later, and the question will be what eth has to offer besides the smart contracts. But about the mining field, most of the large companies are choose Bitcoin to mining, they do not choose Ethereum to create a big farmer and manage it. Because manage a huge amount of number GPU hardware not easy, Asic better than GPU when you manage bulk.

Etherium is best known for short term investment and Bitcoin is good for long term investment. Both Bitcoin and Etherium are good in different aspects. Bro, I have suggested this information for the newbies who wish to start mining with the less investment option. In that mining farm with the ASIC mining is the quiet high budget for anyone. If you able to invest on buying 6 gpu with one rig initially. You can take the money back with in 3 months.

Thus far, ethereum has been used mainly by the ico to raise funds, apart from that nothing much is happening. Bitcoin has better adoption rate, especially outside the crypto community, this is why it is my number one.

To my opinion ETH is besides bitcoin only coin worth investing and that has good perspective. If you want to diversify your investment this might be the good choice but bitcoin is more applicable in real life so my first choice would always be bitcoin.

For my opinion and base on the research, survey and the reality, bitcoin is the largest and the highest valued cryptocurrency and also bitcoin is the most known and famous of all the cryptos,bitcoin helped many people and opened many minds of many people to our economy. Although Ethereum is the second highest valued coin or crypto, still it is not in the level of the bitcoin. The gap of BTC and ETH is very far so bitcoin is the best.

bitcoin with Etherium and the answer is bitcoin, that's my opinion. Why? because for now there is no coin that is like bitcoin and if it wants to be paired it might make sense when the price of each coin is the same as bitcoin

Both Bitcoin and ETH are better in their own spheres, Bitcoin can be seen as a currency whereas ETH is a platform for running decentralized apps. Also the overall supply of Bitcoin is limited but the of ETH is not limited ETH, so the market is not getting flooded. Both the coins have potential in the future but according to me if one needs to invest among BTC and ETH, I would probably go with because the price of ETH is increasing at a faster rate as compared to BTC. It might not be closed to BTC in terms of dollar but for the trade purposes it could be more beneficial then BTC.

I think both are great, and I am long on both. I personally feel that from an asset appreciation coin of view BTC will rise much more in % terms than ETH over the next few years but ETH has much more utility use cases. It is worth looking also at some of the other alt coins. Many are showing pretty good signs right now. (obviously there is some junk on the market too, but time will weed that out)
