BITCOIN vs ETH ? your thoughts ?

Both are good to invest with for me even though they are using different platforms and offering different kind of things to do they are worth your money but it seems that people always keep on making a fight with this two cryptocurrencies the BTC vs ETH feud, we all know that Bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrencies and we can't take the fact that Ethereum is the 2nd placer for a long time and some fanatics of this coin thinks that it will over run the price of Bitcoin in the future.

For me if I were to choose only one side between Bitcoin and Ethereum then I will surely choose Bitcoin because it always make a move that is concrete and efficient that is far beyond comparing to Ethereum that if they think there is great idea they will eventually implement it just like their ICO's that resulted of the regulating of the government of China, and most of all when the price of Bitcoin goes down the price of Ethereum goes down also so for me it is still dependent on Bitcoin's value.

I will go for bitcoin because it is a strong coin and it stays at the top for a lot of years and it has a solid community and market so the stability of the price of bitcoin is not a problem and it is a good coin for long term investment so i think i will have or lower amounts of problem if i will invest and go for bitcoin instead of eth.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are both the best discoveries of this century to me, and I hear Bitcoin is the "father of cryptocurrency" while Ethereum is the "father of the smart contract", though I do not understand them.

Bitcoin is still the king and mother of all altcoin, and alternative altcoin ETH to get bitcoin. There is a lot of investment built around bitcoin, So have a lot of life itself. Falling prices are immediately supported and bought by people waiting on the sidelines for the long term, It has become an asset that people like want, that is gold.

For me, bitcoin is better, because, longer in the market, more confidence, plus the fact that bitcoin is the currency that you can pay for goods and services, yes, it's still very little where you can do it, but still, everything is ahead.

Ethereum platform is a more advanced project that allows to create smart contracts and tokens. Bitcoin technology is outdated and very basic compared to Ethereum... basically Bitcoin is just a coin on the blockchain. But Bitcoin was the first one and without it none of these altcoins could ever exist...

Both are good but in my opinion bitcoin is the mother of cryptocurrency and in near past I mean at the beginning of September 2017 when china announced that she is going to impose ban on cryptocurrency exchanges the prices of ETH and other crypto go down -30% but the price of bitcoin go down only by -7%. So in other words bitcoin is a giant and it is worthy to choose bitcoin instead of ETH.

Of course, most of the traders will choose Bitcoin is winner, because Bitcoin can moves the price of other cryptocurrencies, Ethereum is also affected by that.

ETH has a system of smart contracts. It outweighs everything !!! Now we see how this market is growing (smart contracts). And only that currency that has the support of smart contracts has a future.

Bitcoin 60% Ether 40% for me.

In many ways Ether is better. Faster, bigger supply, its a much younger project therefore potentially has lots for room for growth. Smart contracts are a very promising idea.

Despite all this, it can't be ignored that Bitcoin is the world's first crytpo currency. People tend to favour the world's first and dismiss the others as copycats. Bitcoin will stay the biggest and most popular, therefore must have the edge.

For me, this sounds like asking how much the dollar or euro means for you and who better to choose from them if we want to invest. I think that for many the answer is obvious. Bitcoin is very expensive for a small or newbie investor but the etherium is a very stable currency.( it's not always good)  You can pay attention to the alt coins.

I would of course choose bitcoins as it is ruling over crypto market but if you actually see ethereum is better even then people would always prefer bitcoins over ethereum as bitcoins has gained people's trust and also is the father of cryptocurrency.Ethereum has also a stable market compared to bitcoins which means bitcoins are better investment I think.In the end bitcoins will be always the number one.

i like ethereum. but currently the bitcoin is the top, and we all know that ethereum is still under bitcoin. but if it's altcoin, I think only ethereum can compete with bitcoin in the future (if that happens).

If i compare with Bitcoin and ETH, then One thing is to say, Bitcoin is the great and full demandable virtual currency.

BTC is king. ETH likes to think it's the latest and greatest tech, but has already been surpassed by coins like IOTA with its no-fee architecture. Ethereum is only good for ICO's and we all know how that's going to end.

both are good choices in my opinion. bitcoin is the beginning of the crypto era, while eth is the continuation of the digital currency system both in terms of innovation and technology
