The choice is difficult because I keep bitcoin and ethereum in almost the same amount, but if thought deeper then I prefer more with ethereum, this is because many ICOs accept ETH so I can get bigger profit if join ICO.

I think if Bitcoin doesn't end up doing much development than Ethereum is likely going to surpass it as with so many development updates like proof of stake, sharding and plasma lined up for Ethereum the value of it is going to increase tremendously. Also the Ethereum community is growing at a fast pace and is getting larger.

At my opinion bitcoin is winining nowadays just because of trust. Ethereum have better structure and also working faster at my opinion, we just need to wait for new annouces.

Both of them are a good, very valuable and good investment. But if can choose one, i choose bitcoin over eth because bitcoin is a legal currency in some countries so you can use it multiple ways, but  the problem is, not everyone can reach bitcoin's price.

If you want to put money in a long deposit, then I would certainly advise investing in bitcoin. If you want to play short investments but with a high stamping rate of money, then the broadcast is much better, because at the moment it is very cheap and will soon cost more.

I think that in the near future when the crypto-currency market will recover, it will be possible to talk about the integration of lightning into the network, this has been going on for a very long time, I would like to see bitcoin conversion in a cheaper form and faster, so in comparison with ETH it's just a victory.

The winner would be neither BTC, no ETH.
It could be any unknown coin or token for now.

For today, there is a situation when one interrupts the other due to demand. in the beginning of December there was a demand for bitcoin and the etherium sank very well, then when the ICO began to bring huge profits and the people realized this the airplane flew up sharply. now there was a global correction and the airwaves returned to the prices of November 2017. If the public finally realizes that the market has turned around and the green channel has been formed, the air will again rise in price relative to bitcoin due to investments in ICO /

Two classical crypto-currencies. Bitcoin can be compared to gold, and ether - to the dollar. Gold is limited and purchased for long-term investments. It is inconvenient to trade with them. Dollars are many and they are easily converted into any other currency.

BITCOIN vs ETH ? your thoughts ?
bitcoin is good as cryptocurrency. but only with extremely fast and low-price transactions.
etherium is good as smart contracts based on blockchain. this technology could help to create honest business.

In general, if you compare Ethereum and Bitcoin, they are similar. Both cryptocurrencies are great. Investing in any asset is based on risk. Here is no exception to bitcoin or ethereum. And the risks are the same, in spite of the fact that bitcoin has a longer history. The ethereum shows such rapid growth, which equalizes the stability of bitcoin. Although the stability here is also relative, because during the existence of bitcoin, we have seen fatal falls.

Both are great investments.
BTC was the 'founding father' of cryptocurrencies whereas ETH was built on top of the BTC framework to include more advanced and better features. ETH is considered the 'founding father' of smart contracts in the blockchain.
I wouldn't say one replaces the other. Both are significant in their own ways.

That's right, but right now, I would choose Ethereum over Bitcoin to invest in for a short term or at least semi long term kind of venture. I say that because I think, with Ethereum, I have more chances to get a return of invest for a shorter period of time rather than with Bitcoin right now. Seeing the status of the two coins, I think it's more practical to invest in Ethereum right now. However, I am not discounting Bitcoin, it is still the best coin around, and certainly, once it surges back into shape, all other coins would have to step aside.

It is better to have both coins because BTC usually has different trend comparing with other altcoins - during BTC Pump we usually see altcoins dump and vice versa...

Obviously it is better to have both the coins... but the question here is which one of them is the better coin... For me, it is a tough call. I first invested in Bitcoin almost six years back and BTC made my financial situation much better. My heart is still with BTC. But at the same time, I can't deny the fact that ETH is having huge future potential.

Well, in any case, bitcoin in many ways loses Ethereum. But bitcoin is an old man whose anonymity does not have to worry.

Oh course bitcoin is the first coin invented, but I would better invest in ETH at this point. I believe bitcoin is getting more and more overvalued, but again, it depends. Smiley

Both coins are good.  This is a difficult choice.  But I would choose to invest in ETH.  I think the price of this coin will grow faster than at BTC.
