I would definitely choose Bitcoin instead of Ethereum. The next upgrades (especially MAST, LN & Schnorr signatures) will give Bitcoin the abilities of Smart Contracts, much faster and cheaper transactions.

I still tip Ether to be the coin to invest in. Transactions fee of bitcoins compared to gas of Ether ,makes Ether more profitable to hold than bitcoins. So I say Ether is best than Bitcoin to all my crypto friends and urge everyone to buy ether because it will be a great coin in the next 5 years.

Yes, I agree with you. I like Ethereum for the opportunity to participate in different ICO projects. But I think this coin is also suitable for long term. Its rate is constantly growing, if we take data for the past year

bitcoin will be something that is effective to have. bitcoin and eth have their own advantages and disadvantages. but, I feel that bitcoin is still better than eth, because bitcoin price has a very high price, and more functions are compared eth.

Both of them are a good, very valuable and good investment. But if can choose one, i choose bitcoin over eth because bitcoin is a legal currency in some countries so you can use it multiple ways, but  the problem is, not everyone can reach bitcoin's price.

For usage Ethereum hands down. With the developer tools and a specifically created touring complete language, also not being value blind opens the door to a ton of future uses. Ethereum is so useful that it probably isn't the best store of value. There is no cap although inflation should decrease to an equal amount being lost and created. They both can exist, bitcoin as a slow proof of work store of value and Ethereum as a useful agile proof of stake with multiple shards.
