One red flag : they shy away from answering technical questions in their telegram, and instead tell users to "look for it in their whitepaper", claiming it is like a treasure hunt. If the team is unable to properly answer questions, there is no way I would trust them with my money.
Maybe they think that the white paper is self explanatory and once you read it most of your question will be answered, sometime we need a direct answer from the dev team in order for us to create a trust relationship.

I could also imagine that it was a question they already got asked several times before and that it was one that is clearly answered in the Whitepaper.

I think it can be a good decision not to do bounties. It has pros and cons of course, but at least there won't be the usual bounty dumpers.
I guess that is because they have other marketing campaings in mind. Maybe they don't have enough money for everything and had to make a choice.
so this project will not you have a bounty campaign? perhaps they have in mind other methods to promote, advertise the ico...

Bounties are an easy way to promote a project for a cheap price.

I agree with you. Bounties cost very less than professional marketing and their reach is wide without many efforts.

In fact, bounties paid in the own tokens costs nothing to the devs beside the transaction coasts in the end Smiley If a project gains in value, that's pretty nice. If it fails, the devs have paid nothing but a bit of eth for the transactions. That's one of the reasons why all ICOs pay bounties in their own currency and not in for example eth or btc. But it's of course also good for the project as this means more tokens are in circulation, which is good for the market.

I wonder what did you ask? Sometimes in telegram people ask the same questions over and over and the devs get tired of it. I hope that did not happen here.

I didn't ask any question, but there was someone else asking and he was simply told to look for it in the whitepaper.

To quote the exact question asked: " so what kind of data will be stored in cloud ? can you elaborate on the data types?" , "Give me a SAP Transaction or program where in ERP can be expected to make a Blockchain CALL" , also there were some SAP specific questions with attached photos, asking if plug-in functions could work.  Definitely not in the whitepaper.

I don't know why all of a sudden this thread has a ton of people jumping to their defense all repeating the same thing "oh maybe its the same question that got asked before". As an investor you should always be skeptical and analyzing a company thoroughly. If something looks like a red flag, you have to keep probing until u get a satisfactory response.

Ok now lets wait for an official answer since they should be able to pin point the question you are referring to.

By your road map you will have own blockchain and wallet in 2018. So we must waiting our coins in 2018?

Yes, but within the 48 hr after the TGE ends you will receive ERC20 tokens that will be swapped when our wallet will be ready.

Thank you. Own coins with own mainnet more better than tokens. How I can swap tokens to original coin? how will the process going?

As you can see in our roadmap in our Whitepaper (p. 13 in the pdf) or at the begining of this thread, we are expecting to have wallet ready in Q2-Q3 2018 and then we will make a swap. It will be an automated process. Just stay tuned for the announcements. You can subscribe to our newsletter on our page sophiatx.com or follow us on some other social networks where it is more convenient since it is quite easy to miss our announcements here. We are on reddit, facebook, twitter, google+ and we also have a telegram channel and slack.

You are putting your money in it, you are every right to be skeptical also expect all your questions answered.

I am not on their telegram but in here they are trying to answer every question they got so I don't have a problem for now.

I will definitely invest some in this project but I want some extra trough bounties.

But didn't see any bounty thread or information.

Do you have a bounty program?

They said earlier in this thread that there is no bounty campaign planned.

After careful consideration of all pros and cons, it is not suitable for our type of project, therefore we decided not to proceed with bounties.
You can get an additional 10% bonus for using DCT.

Then I will invest with dct.

But why are you giving such a bonus to dct? Do you have an agreement or partnership with decent? Or you and decent devs are the same guys?

SophiaTX is a project by Equidato Technologies AG which is a joint venture of DECENT and Venaco Group. Also, SophiaTX's blockchain is built on DECENT's technology. So there is a partnership of some sort.

Oh i get it now.

By the way, decent lost some value after ico. I don't know what did they do wrong but maybe you know? And won't make the same mistakes also?

We cannot speak on behalf of DECENT, but there has been definitely more factors in the game. But as mentioned in the discussion, bounty programme bears the risk of dumpers and therefore negative effects on coin/token value immediately after the launch (but we have more reasons why we do not use the bounties and this one - the risk - is just a minor one).

Oh my! I think this one is another great find. They are actually solving real world problems out there and not just duplicating other coins like what most of the coins do. I think this project is very unique and promising. I just read the Announcement OP and I am excited to know more and to get in to this project. I am really looking for great projects to invest in. And I will study this one more so that I will know if this is really worth it for my money. However, I really liked the idea. As I understand it, you are becoming as the Oracle of the industries. This will be the backbone and this is not tackled yet in the arising field of Blockchain. I will read the whitepaper and study this project deeper. But I have one question right out the bat:

Why didn't you choose the Ethereum Platform/Blockchain as the Backbone for SophiaTX?

You would find the answer in our Whitepaper but since it is quite at the end you have probably didn't get there yet Smiley. I will just copy it here for you as well as for others who might have the same question:

Ethereum

Despite the fact this is one of the most dominant platforms currently in use for ICO/TGE and many other uses, we have concluded that using Ethereum for integration with business applications has its limitations. It is possible to use Ethereum for some selective business contracts and transactions, however, providing a holistic high-performance blockchain, in our view, would not be attainable, partly due to the use of Proof-of-Work (PoW). Also, it is required that a business suitable blockchain must have a certain level of privacy and encryption currently not used by Ethereum.

"In September, SophiaTX announced the first open-source platform to primarily integrate blockchain technology with SAP software, used by 87 percent of global businesses and 98 percent of the top 100 most-valued brands." Read the article by Nasdaq, an American stock exchange and the second-largest exchange in the world.

We successfully unveiled a working Proof of Concept that demonstrates how companies can exchange information between their enterprise systems, such as SAP, using SophiaTX blockchain!

Pretty neat video. Good to see that you guys are actively working on educating everyone about the project.

Are you guys planning to use this technology to communicate between R3 or HANA based systems, or just between Business Ones?

No dependency on SAP HANA.  The platform will be completely system agnostic - meaning integration with other systems such as Oracle etc.
