Is gladius only for ddos attacks? What about the dns attack that ed suffered and the hacks to the database. DDOS can only crash a system making it unusable for hours but i guess gladius wont be limiting itself to ddos and we can see many more security updates to it that can help.

Ddos protection at Cloudflare could be as high as $5000 a month for enterprise protection.  If Gladius can offer $500 a month for enterprise protection then the token price will increase 100x.  I predict when Gladius is listed on the exchange, 50 Gladius is equivalent of 1 Ether.
