Here is a topic on reddit with the link on which you can sign up for using the testnet: https://www.reddit.com/r/Oyster/comments/7u62pf/oyster_testnet_a_user_signup/But as stated, the signups are limited as they don't want a flooding of the testnet. Anyway very glad to see that it is already working and will be announced in a few hours!

I dont know if anyone noticed that.. 1. Oyster is already in contact with other exchanges (very likely bigger ones than KuCoin) 2. A working testnet would increase the chances of Oyster getting listed on Binance a lot and when I say a lot I mean a massive lot. Here you can see what kind of projects Binance is looking for to list their coin: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/binance-listing-tips-changpeng-zhao"Product You should have a working product or at least a prototype. Something we can download and play with. It needs to work and be impressive." If the testnet is successful, Oyster has fulfiled all requirements to get listed on Binance! And if you take a look at all changes Oyster has done in the past month, you could think about them having the goal to fulfil all requirements to get listed on Binance aswell. I wont spread hype here, but its pretty obviously to me that Oyster is very likely to get listed on Binance if the testnet A is a success. But remember that fulfilling all requirements is not an equivalent of Binance listing. I never said that, all I said was that the chances are now much higher for a listing.

Oyster NOW HAS A WORKING PRODUCT. First file to ever be uploaded onto the Tangle, and retrieved (***using a single node on just one computer - in reality, they will be much much faster to upload***): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kVsX4eTx_gThis is big!

I will have to adjust the PRL-price this evening but still waaaaaaaaaay cheaper than the current possibilities offered by the big players... Especially when the theoretical 64GB will be the minimum and Bruno aims for 512 GB, which will revolutionize an entire industry.

Any idea what kind of returns we can see from adding the PRL code to our website? Say, a website that gets around 60k monthly visitors? How many pearl are we talking ?

Thanks for that comparison, I didn't know the prices from the Oyster competition

Awesome work that video where it was explained about proof or work and all the screenshots are incredibly interesting. When talented people are working in something with determination their work speaks for themselves. It is a real new beginning for this file storing in affordable and convenient way. It has bright future keep up the high quality work.

Prospects for Oyster are simply huge, now the whole market is falling again, but as soon as it unfolds it's worth waiting for rapid growth!

I'm curious about one thing. Will users have to save the handle for every file they upload? That's not very user friendly. If that's needed only in this early stage, then OK. But I hope Oyster protocol will work more like Dropbox where user can simply copy the file to the certain folder and then the Oyster software will do the rest (upload the file, save it's handle and retrieve it later).

They already announced on telegram a dropbox feature for oyster in the future.

Yes, they have thought of an option like that. The issue is that for truly anonymous and private secure storage, a handle is the best way of doing things. Like your own private key.

Can't actually make my assumption but if those 60k monthly visitors had 20% of the users share their computing power, it could generate you a decent amount of the coins of your choice.

They already announced on telegram a dropbox feature for oyster in the future. Well, it's hard to keep up with news on the Telegram channel because it's flooded with stupid conversation. I think I even left that channel. I stayed only on the announcement channel.

PRL is one of the few gems that survived todays bloodbath imagine how it would grow if the market was normal. It soon will! I expect 10$ in a few months, 20-40$ end of year. The team will deliver the project for sure as they are working their asses off. Bruno keep up the good work
