what do you think, which tokens are a great investment for 5-10 years?

Bitcoin.

After that I'd look at sectors by use case:

• Smart contracts I think are likely to transform society, so take your pick of the smart contract coins. Obviously ETH is a good one here.
• Fast payments are another great use case. Again take your pick, but I'd go with XRP.
• Any good IoT coin.
• One of the RFID coins, maybe Walton although that's a gamble.
• Green energy as a bit of a stretch. Likely to be a huge sector, and a good fit to crypto. There are a few good coins. WPP maybe?

There is no answer other than Bitcoin, if you want to invest for the long term buy bitcoin now and save as long as you want.
I would not recommend Altcoin, because it is very rare for an altcoin to survive for the long term

But do you feel the profit from holding bitcoin is enough to make you happy or not? I acknowledge that this holding will bring a very high level of security but in return, your profit is too little, even too long to receive, don't ask me about the evidence when it is too clear when we need to wait for how long for bitcoin to jump to the current price level. maybe between bitcoin and ETH, the next good coin to hold is the BNB. I really agree with that. in the future, this coin will be one of the coins that can compete with ETH, and I estimate it can exceed XRP. the price will definitely be quite high when prices start to rise again.

I mean Bitcoin started the whole thing but technically there are so much better, safer, faster, more anonymous coins that should take over in the long run.

I think the long term investment is always going to a good future so I think it ethereum had huge expectation from the people so I think it will be perfect for long term investment and also you can not worry about the investment very frequently.

I have never specifically intended to invest in the long term. long-term investment is too risky for me. but I save my assets in bitcoin and ethereum. not for long-term investments. I just wait for the price to rise anytime. and when I thought there were enough profits, I would sell it.

I'm betting a large stack of my portfolio on XSN to be quite honest.
They are a low cap project which launched march 2018.

yes i agree with you. especially if for long-term investment. investing in altcoin that has a low marketcap will only increase the risk of loss. so our best choice here is only bitcoin and ethereum. only these two coins can be trusted for the long term.
