Every investors has his or her own strategy of picking long term investment tokens so i'm going to drop mine.

1. I choose coins or tokens to hold for long term based on how experience the teams are and how long they have been building the project because many projects that ends up a failure are based on ideas built out of nowhere,good projects are always in production for long so they must have been planning everything for a long time,good things always take time

2. I like holding coins with limited supply,if coins supply is way too much it will take longer for it to have better value even if the project is solid,for example just think what Dogecoin would have become if the supply is in millions and not billions.

3.Once upon a time i used to hold coins and tokens i can get my hands on but not anymore,if coins and tokens have no real use case i dont see any reason holding onto such projects

Actually bitcoin and ethereum are best used as long-term investments. I don't think that anonymous coins have any relationship with promising long-term coins.That is, anonymous does not mean profitable coins.If you look at cryptocurrencies in the long term (in the author's opinion 5-10 years), the chance to show significant growth have litecoin,Stellar and Ethereum.
