Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ????

Vertcoin is a great coin for investment
now with the Litecoin changes it will takes its place
it has a very strong community and development growthrate is very high
in a year it will have many more functions and will focus on adoption with all this features

There are a couple of altcoins I'm currently researching -

VeChain - A coin similar to Walton, it's primarily used for supply chain logistics and product verification. It's not fun or exciting like a lot of these other coins, but I believe it has the potential to change the way logistics are conducted. It also has significant investor attention (PwC, ties with Renault, shipping companies) that indicate that big businesses are interested. Limited consumer application but huge business potential.

TRON - Really awful whitepaper (it's Engrish) but fun and interesting premise - it's a coin used in Chinese apps like Peiwo and a potential introduction to cryptocurrency for a humongous market. Lots of investor attention and the creator, Justin Sun, has ties to Alibaba's Jack Ma.

DNT - A recent coin and something that I will probably use once the technology is better established considering my interest in eBay. I haven't fully grasped it yet, but it's essentially a decentralized eBay or Craigslist for cryptocurrency users. I'm really looking forward to seeing where this goes.

All of these coins have long-term potential.

Which coins are REALLY GROUNDBREAKING in your eyes and why?

I mean Bitcoin started the whole thing but technically there are so much better, safer, faster, more anonymous coins that should take over in the long run.

Investing in alts long term is probably not a good idea. But if you are, then you want to have one that has a target market that is big and diverse, not just one particular niche that only a handful of people are interested in.

Bitcoin has the best chance of profit and success in the long term still, imo.

It doesn't really matter who's got superior technology. What matters is community, usability, and cost.

All of these coins have long-term potential.

For me, there's no coins for LONG-TERM investment.Why? Simply because nobody knows exactly what would happened in the future. It is part of business to promise everything to give an assurance to people so that more investors got interest. Though some business experts predicting possible results but keep in mind  that hindrances are always behind everthing so don't expect to much.

Cryptocurrency = high risk, big reward
In my view, Ethereum will have a bright future because of the features provided.
But,for secure investment you can also invest some of it in gold or real assets

I think for long-term investment coins should choose ethereum or waves,
because the roadmap project is also long-term

Well yeah I'm a fan of eth and for me it's an all time investment. As next to bitcoin, ethereum platform is a well established one that many ICOs are trusting as well as the users unlike other platforms.
Been holding for months since I started and waiting for a great pump and to take profit.

No quite so sure what to check on this  because as one commenter said, we do not know what will happen in the future. As long as Bitcoin is king and no other technology can surpass that I would think that other coins will stay at the mercy of the USDollar... I mean Bitcoin. Sorry.

I think the best coin for long term investment is BITCOIN as it is the most popular and most stable cryptocurrency.
ETHEREUM is also good coin for long term investment as it is the most used platform for ICOs. CIVIC is a newcomer and I believe that high returns can be expected from this project.

I believe Ethereum will not be the only big and popular platform with smart contracts. There is still a lot of space for newcomers to fill. NEO, QTUM, EOS, Waves, Bytom and others look as a good projects to have their tokens in the long term. Groundbraking? Maybe Elastic (XEL) and SONM.

I agree with you. ethereum is the best altcoin and the best investment right now. In fact many bounty entrust their coins to the ethereum. But there will be other competitors like waves, ltc, and other coins that will compete with ethereum.

Yes, I agree for this. Specially the NEO, this is my number one suggestion for long term investment. If you have NEO on your wallet you can earn GAS too. And then OMG is still good for long term investment, their team is very active and lot of projects for future.

If you think for the long term investment then I suggests you to bitcoin...because btc is very old coin and it have great history.. So its very safe to invest in btc than any other cryptocoins....

id suggest go on bitcoin if you want a long term investment because bitcoin is proven and tested for a verry long time since it was born and most people including me are also investing on it ,due to the fact that it is stable and safer compared to other known coins. although etherium is also a good coin alternative to bitcoin if you want another option.

I think many altcoins have the potential to be successful if you are willing to hold them for long term and ethereum, siacoin and golem are my top three picks.
Golem is a decentralized super computer and anyone who owns golem can access it easily.
Ethereum as it is currently the most used platform for hiding ICOs.
SIACOIN is decentralized cloud storage and I think it's currently undervalued.
All these coims can help you earn good amounts of profits in the long run.
