I would say we should always consider top 20 Alt coins for Long-term investment & We should do our own research well before going for long term holding with any alt coin. Here is my list of long term investment coins: Waves, Xrp, Deeponion, Ltc, Lsk, Stratis, Dash, Xmr, Iota Etc.

Eth, litcoin and Bitcoin. These are the only current coins which are going to be worth holding onto. I think out of all of them Bitcoin is the one to hold onto and possibly eth as that's having some great news coverage right now.

That's right! Byteball only an altcoin can earn from airdrop, I do not think any altcoin created by airdrop will have future. Example Stellar, LBRY, ... re-check the price of these coin and tell me your opinion, bad or good for airdrop

All people tend to speculate on short-term moves but I am more interested in tokens that will go up x times over the next couple of years...

so to say, the Amazons and Googles of the crypto world.

I mean Bitcoin started the whole thing but technically there are so much better, safer, faster, more anonymous coins that should take over in the long run.

I think there will be a real shift towards tokens that have real intrinsic value. Furthermore, I think that the real decentralisation revolution will take place in sectors that are currently government influenced, such as energy and healthcare - i.e. what we will see is a massive boom in these sectors due to deregulation and at the same time decentralisation.

The sectors are also so large that they can accommodate and take over from current coins easily - and then there is real intrinsic value.

The most promising are projects such as Prosume - real business, real team.

I suppose bright future will have BTC, ETH, NEO and Monero. Plus some kind of crypto marketplace like SAFEX, Syscoin or Soma or something that doesn't exist yet.

The first one comes to mind is of course waves. Honestly i don’t see any reason for waves to fail. It is great project that one surely reach it’s potential and i know people behind waves is working hard to make agreements and make it much more useful than it is now so waves is the right option if you are interested in long term investment.

dash and XRM is my love! but i totally miss it! noly have a few of them!
now there is postoken maybe the next potential token!of course,it is based on eth and it have a long long road to walk!
if the dev team keep up their job and expand imagination to achieve some amazing funtion, it would a great token!

You are correct. If you want to go for long time investing and no worry to always check the value, then go for Bitcoin. I believe there will be a of struggles and issue that will come its way, but BTC can manage. Good things will always be faced by struggles. Wow, 5-10 years!! I think there are very few tokens that would last that long. I would mainly bet on Steem, ETH, Golem, Neo, EOS, Rush coins (Hashrush) etc.
