Hey SHIELD. I made a Dutch translation.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2267433.new#new

Thanks for the effort

The SHIELD team

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

To the owner of wallet address SW1i8sZComqwys8unL4khe8cgmabgUKQRf who is trying to mine SHIELD (XSH) :

Please change the password to c=XSHS instead of c=xsh. The password is case sensitive.
And in order to differenciate each algo the coin tag on my pool is not XSH but XSH and 1st letter of the algo.
XSHS - Scrypt
XSHX - X17
...
XSHB - Blake

And don't forget, if you change to another algo, get a new wallet address or the stratum connexion will fail.

I'm on the discord if anyone need help.

I think all pool owner are on it and we will gladly help you.

To keep the network as much decentralized as possible Bilbotel and I decided to change our fee politic for a little while. https://beardedpool.fr is now the only pool with 0.5% fee on x17.
Happy mining Smiley

Cool Cool Cool

Bearded. Fast. Safe. Low Fees. Payout every hour after the first confirmed block.

Use your wallet address as your username, and c=XSH as your password.
We're using Yiimp, no registration required.

Cool Cool Cool

.bat exemple for ccminer

Code:
-a x17 -o stratum+tcp://beardedpool.fr:3737 -u YOUR_WALLET -p c=XSH

Don't forget to use XSH as password, or your shares will be lost

Yes, we are seeing this problem. At the time of payment, purse answered mistake. We are trying to establish what the problem was. Error in the code of the wallet or in the software Yiimp. In any case tomorrow in the morning we will make this payment in a manual mode.

We also observe strange behavior in our wallet. Awards for some blocks appeared a few hours later. Apparently this was the reason for not paying the miners. Although in the statistics, the pool of transaction was displayed. Soft Yiimp is not ready for this behavior of the wallet.

I'm of the opinion that in general the chain needs to be slowed a little.  By my count, it's currently averaging a block every 7-8 seconds, which is half the of the intended 15 second blocktime.  If the difficulty is nudged a little higher, we might get more stability so that the network isn't constantly trying to give priority to simultaneous solutions.

But that's just my opinion; I'm not a technical guy and I'll leave it to devs to judge what's best.

I want to buy some, but I afraid it will die in the future, any advice? Thanks.

I think there are a lot of strong factors supporting this coin.  Successful multi-algo running.  Anon focus.  We were in discord with a dev, and he was very polite and responsive.

But this is definitely a risky investment.  This coin is less than 2 weeks old.  Do not buy a 2-week-old coin unless you can handle large risk of failure, in return for huge chance to make gains.

The other thing is that this whole Bitcoin-Gold or Bitcoin-GPU craze or whatever is going to depress all investment and financing of altcoins in the short term (because everyone wants to hold bitcoin).  So it's going to be a bad month for altcoins in general, people should not read into altcoin prices.  I think Shield and other promising projects will be okay afterward.

could you send me the discord invite? thanks

Yeah, you're right, we're working on it but to not put to much stress on pools and exchanges the update will come out in a week or maybe 2-3 weeks.
