Think it's better to make an official statement here if mining must be stopped....

Hey,

We don't understand what you're trying to say with that. We like people mining but think it's first of all healthier if they coin gets mined a little less. Miners are now just selling everything they get for 3-4 sats and we think this could be holding the coin back from going up. More important than that is the orphan blocks being created at the moment. Orphan blocks may still get created after the hardfork but it'll be decreased from what it is now. Mining SHIELD at the moment is just a pain. Mining doesn't have to be stopped, we aren't against is. No, we're trying to make mining almost better and at least easier. If you do have any more questions about the hardfork you may always ask them.

The SHIELD team.

I want to know if now I'm mining on the right chain, that's it...anyway seems to understand that the fork is in 2 weeks...so I can keep mining shield.

Hardfork source update and what you'll have to know.

Hey everyone,

We are about to push the hardfork source update. Here are a few things you will have to know.
We have talked to the community and came to the decision to have the hardfork happen as fast as possible. As we have already said a few times before we want to give the pools and exchanges some time to breathe so we can't do it tomorrow or the day after that. We have decided to have the hardfork happen on block 370.000 This will be around sunday. You will not have to stop mining if the pools are updated before the hardfork itself happens. We are going to personally contact our pools and exchange to tell them to update, when the update is ready. Furthermore, if you have your SHIELD on the stocks.exchange exchange you don't have to get then off of the exchange, as long as they update before the hardfork. So if you want to be completely safe or just don't want to have your money in the hands of someone else we recommend keeping them in your own wallet but this would not be necessary.

The SHIELD team.

With the slower blocktimes and the addition of nicehash profits for this will be very low

Hi dev,

Thanks for the update, it's probably for the best to do the hard fork as fast as possible.  Is it safe to continue mining today or is it possible that I'll be mining on the wrong chain?

It's safe and will be unless the pool doesn't update before the hardfork.

We are ready to update the wallet on our pool as soon as it is ready. The developers advise the PM when it will be possible to upgrade a pool wallet.

Same here. Maybe some protection with dificulty. About 200 in 5-10 minutes (approx). after goes down to 90 on the pool. But in my miner its 200Mh.
BigMiner pool. Than (in 5 mins) 200 again.
Well, same on umine. Maybe its because of orphan blocks.
Can someone answer why thats happening?

Set the difficulty manually. I recommend d=64

Do you know how to do this?

Code:
-a lyra2v2 -o stratum + tcp: //bigmine.org: 4533 -u YOUR_WALLET -p c=XSH,stats,d=64

We recommend placing the diff not less than the current diff of the coin. Our pool takes into account the complexity of your diff.

Try also d=64

Have you tried making a wallet? Have you read ANY of our previous post or announcements? No? Go read them! Yes? Alright so you understand we're working on them and you'd know what problems we're getting.
