You'll better fair relaunch with working stuff for all.

Best Children of Gaia, we understand your frustrations but we have tried to make it as fair as possible for everyone.

If you're using Linux you can make your own wallet, if you don't know how to we recommend going to our readme of our coin github https://github.com/ShieldCoin/SHIELD. If you're using windows there is an easy way to still get SHIELD. You can use the Electrum Windows wallet to generate an address and then mine at the umine pool or beardedpool.

https://github.com/ShieldCoin/SHIELD/releases/download/v1.0/Electrum-Windows-Standalone-unreleased.zip

launch wallet, even if it not synchronizing you will have a address.
Start, generate, it will say - you are offline and closed. Start again, go to Receive tab and copy wallet. When wallet update will be released you will get your coins on windows.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

You'll better fair relaunch with working stuff for all.

I believe in good launches with no pre-mining, but I don't expect "wallet on every platform" to become the standard.   Think of it this way - why will Children of Gaia complain about missing Windows wallet, but not Mac?

Linux is free for anyone to use, unlike a $100 copy of Windows.  Unfair launches are those that are windows only.  Anyone with a windows machine can run Ubuntu for free.

Edit: someone earlier in the thread even posted a COMPILED Linux daemon for people.  Just need to download it and run it.

I said "for all", not for windows only or something like that.

man, stop waste your time on forums - better download virtualbox, isntall ubuntu and try to compile (its actually not so hard), and you will always "ready".

Vera Nov,

It depends on what OS you are using, we currently don't have any official SHIELD wallets out but will have an Electrum Windows wallet in a few days, if you're using Linux, you should be able to create your own wallet, or like redsun said, find out what people before you have done and take that over.

Hope this helps you out, the SHIELD team.

The irony of releasing a coin and calling it "Not premined"
And then wallets or pools not working.

Ease cake to pick up for the developers, happy mining for days

Hey fredericos,

We understand your frustrations but you could always create your own wallets and create your own pool or solo mine. Furthermore we're working hard on getting official wallets out but unfortunately it hasn't gone as smooth as we would've wished. Even if we would've mined EVERY coin that has been mined at this very moment we would've only had 10% of the max market cap, which is a lot, I agree with you, but it wouldn't have killed the project. But you're right we should've released the coin with and will try to recover from the rocky start with some incredible future updates.

Hope to see you more in the future, the SHIELD team.

It shows the blocks a bit late, but they still count (as far as I can tell). Check the found blocks history, I can see a bunch of new blocks now.

Hello. No, we're not scamming you but we're encountering a lot of weird problems with this coin on our pool. Your coins aren't lost, if we can't fix things, payouts will be processed manually tonight and the coin will be dropped out of the pool to avoid any confusion about what we're trying to do. If we find a way to make the daemon simply work like the others, we'll keep it Smiley

For the record and for all pool owners : This wallet seems to be buggy with unlabelled addresses (when you're setting up a new wallet, the default address is unlabelled). For some reasons, the wallet is locked on this address so we switched to a labelled new account on the same wallet but it seems to not like it and can't properly proceed payouts. All others coins are working perfectly and we never scammed anything : Pure, TGAO, BPX, Laxmi, Gop etc.
