Lack of education is not always the cause of poverty. There are many people without education, but they are very hardworking and have opened their successful business.

Largely due to the environment they are placed in. Some countries are corrupt beyond belief and have little to no assets. The combination of the two, plus poor education / insufficient nutrition for development creates a vicious and ongoing cycle that is nearly impossible to break.

For me...corrupt politician luck of political rules by pass the law poor infrustrcture and luck of education...in my own opinion as long as corrupt politician is in the top I think poverty will remain...they must know about dignity and fate to there job.  people in the lower Society will give privillage and opportunity for equal right..

There's a major discrepancy between social classes and i think what's making this worse is that those at the upper tier of society is doing things to keep that gap wide. Lazyness is a primary reason for poverty. But I would never claim that it can be the sole reason. Sometimes there are not enough opportunities for the poor people to improve their lives. The population growth stretches the government resources and in many cases the administration is unable to provide education and healthcare to the citizens.

I think the country that you are talking about was Africa, isn't right? Because, most of the people out there was malnourished that's why many people died and dying because of hunger too. I think some of their government officials are corrupt, so their country full of hardship to their citizens.

As much as the environment is a factor, ignorance or lack of creative mindset is a bigger cause of poverty. for instance,  If I understand what goes and what doesn't, in my environment, I should be able to sit down, think creatively  and come up with something that will be a solution to one challenge or the other. Another cause of poverty is that people tend to put all their problems on the government of the day, expecting too much, when such expectations are not met, disappoint arises and the poverty chain is tightened. Poverty is not synonymous with any people. Its a universal problem.

But in the developed nations, the number of uneducated is low, and therefore they can easily find jobs in the blue collar sector. Extreme poverty isn't only rampant in africa. All over asia and the middle east people are.dying from hunger. The sad part there is tbat their governments are neglecting these people at the bottom. According to me the main causes of poverty is Laziness besides it the other factors are illiteracy, corruption,unemployment and mismanagement. Sometimes the state of one's mind and believes can also lead to poverty.
