 I think the common cause of poverty specially in my country  is the high levels of population growth, the weakness in employment generation and the quality of jobs generated. The poor have large families and with a poor level of educational attainment.

One big factor that contributes to poverty in my country is corruption, a problem that doesn't seem to end. Because of these corruptions, funds are getting short for health, education, agriculture, and other important matters. Another thing is the lack of education. If you can't read or do basic math, if you can't show up for work and apply yourself, you will not have a job. You will be poor.

Causes of poverty, the government has no unity. Corruption,only other politicians benefit from government funds.Debt in other countries that affect financial status of the country. As a result , the small peoples of the country have been affected. The small communities should have enough funds to spport livelihood programs for poor citizens. I think the common cause of poverty is being unemployed or doesn't have a family plan for those who have a plenty of children but couldn't give them a good life ,

In my opinion, many factors lead to poverty rates ranging from labor productivity, net wage rates, income distribution, employment opportunities, inflation rates, taxes / subsidies, investments, allocations, natural resources, the availability of public facilities such as primary education, health, information , transportation, electricity, clean water, residential location, technology use, education, physical condition and nature of a region, work ethic and worker motivation culture or tradition, politics, natural disasters and warfare. In the meantime, there are also many factors that affect both directly and indirectly such as low income and assets to meet basic needs, inability to voice and lack of power in front of state / community institutions, and vulnerable to economic shocks related to inability to cope. I'd say a lack of education and corruption. A self centered view of the world creates wealth for few and leaves many behind.
I think its also something historicall as many countries have been exploited and have often been left alone to repair the damages themselves which they were not able to handle.

If it's poverty en masse then it's either due to environmental factors such as say being situated in a desert lacking basic resources, or a corrupt oppressive government controlling everything. I think those are the big ones.

The world has more than enough resources to feed its inhabitants specially human. Highly developed countries are wasting thousand tonnes of food while developing countries are facing starvation. The very reason is greed, it is the worst values known by man ever since. 20% of the world's population are rich and enjoying the 80% world's resources unlike the 80% of the populace belongs to poverty line and they only consume 20% of the resources. If most of the people will only learn how to share we may not hear or see the word poverty frequently.

there are many when the answer is the answer to the question. In addition to the factors of the limited available employment, laziness factor also plays an important role.But, the corruption factor of the leaders is very important.
