From the discussion from Discord it looks like an agreement could not be settled between the devs, nobody forced nobody to do something.
I don't see any reason in how is the current Cryptopia price and volume related to that.

As you saw yesterday Waller is a very respected dev on the community he was active all day yesterday here.
Once we iron the small details
We are going to bring the big guns and announce the new implementations for LUX
