Is Master Degree Important?

Do you think that master degree is important? I see that many companies nowadays ask for a master degree but still I know many people who had a job without it. Do you think it is essential?

It depends on your countries situation. In my country , everybody has a bachelor degree and, as a result of this, most of the companies are asking for master degree for job applications. That's why , it is very crucial to have this degree in my country.

Everyone is having a bachelor degree? I don't think that in any country that is possible. At the most 60% to 70% may be having a bachelor's degree. And from what I have seen, the master's degree doesn't give you much of an advantage in the job market. And on the other hand, it wastes your two years.

at this time the development of the world of work and the business world is very advanced and the competition is very tight, therefore in need also good human resources and ready to be competitive in business progress.
many companies are seeking and recruiting highly skilled professionals such as master degrees in order to be ready to grow a company's business and ready to compete, it is expected that these workers can teach and develop their skills to other workers who have a level below them in order to participate survive in this increasingly fierce business competition.

Not all job requires master's degree, only higher rank of positions require this. I think that even bachelor's degree is not that essential nowadays. You can be successful in life if you can have a successful business even if you're not a degree holder.

It is important to have a master's or specialist's degree that a full higher education with a bachelor's diplom can sometimes not be taken to work, it is only an incomplete higher education. The sense of studying for 4 years to get a diplom of incomplete higher, you need to do everything to the end. I am a Master and I am proud of it.

What is essential is what you have inside your head. New knowledge economy does not rely on degrees (although it can help to get a good starting position), but it is not essential.

Masteral Degree are only important if you want jobs that pay a good amount for a salary and those degree can give good points for job interviews

It can give you a good start, but to be able succeed you need determination and hard-work, Degree is only a title, not a guarantee you can be a successful person in your career, so I don't think it is really important

Definitely Yes It is very important that you are a degree holder. After the college you will have a light and easy job with huge profits. You just have to make sure you work hard to find the job you want and fit for you.

You dont need bsc to find a job. When it comes to "good job" u need well educated like BSc or Msc.  Some people get good jobs with good salary by their luck.

It all depends in which field you are going to work. Like for banking sector you must have it but for Plumbing I don't think so it is important.

Master degree is not necceseraly important but it is always good to see a person has put effort to study and get high education. I would say in traditional corporations management is always requiring master degrees in case an employee has an ambition and wants to be in managerial positions. on the other hand, there are so many successful people, entrepreneurs who do not even have any single certificate or degree, they are just talented, enthusiastic born with internal intellect.

For me I think I believe  master degree is important but it is not necessary, we can look for a job just having our degree, the only one necessary for masteral is one that pursuing teaching profession

I think, it depends in which your target?. If you want to be a good job you should must need it others not.Even every body not to do study for only good jobs but also make himself well educated person.so I think we makes us well educated persons in the society,the master degree is so much important for us.

It depends on what kind of job you'r into,here in the Philippines having a master's degree is a must for people working in the government,finishing master's degree means promotion and higher pay.
When applying for a job you're one step ahead from others who don't have a master's degree ,so you get hired.It is now an important requirements for getting a permanent position in any   government institutions,having a master's degree means you have a good understanding and knowledge on your field of expertise,so people always look up at you with admiration and respect.

It's a very good leverage and a great credential a master degree is specially if you're aiming for good rank in a company you're applying for. A master's degree is also given to a person who actually 'mastered' a certain program. This gives the company the confidence that the person they will be employing actually knows what he/she is doing.

I don’t find having ma master’s degree important. I mean, we can all be successful with just a college degree, correct? Having a master’s degree is just for self fulfillment for me. If you feel you really need it then go dor it.

for me, master degree is not that important. Yes, some company required a Master degree to pass to their requirements but if you have the ability, knowledge and skills that are highly qualified then why not get you instead of a master degree holder?

Master degree is good in resume and other papers that need a educational background but if you're looking for job, you just have to be skilled and knowledgeable.
