Nowadays, skills are very important, you may have a Master degree, but you must have a skill too. Cause how can you use your knowledge if you did not apply it into skill? So it's not important to have a Master Degree all you need to do is to be a skilled person.

Yes it is very relevant in today's career world. if not anything at all , you can enter the academia field with a masters degree than first degree. strive and do MPHIL rather than MA or MSC. MPHIL is just like a PHD in some instance.

I agree, the main thing in a person's life is his skills and the application of learned knowledge, but nevertheless, these knowledge somewhere must be obtained...Of course it is not important to have a master's degree, but we need to grow, learn and improve our level of qualification constantly

It's important, but Masters degrees have become so common that it doesn't help you stand out as much as it had before. Now people are going for multiple degrees or Ph.Ds so Masters degrees, while important, have less influence as they used to. However, experience trumps degree in value imo.

I can only say., job is only a few percent who need an education or a bachelor degree in my country many scholars who are unemployed and do not have a job the way they survive one of them by selling ,, I think if we want science lecture really your college just because you want to get the title is very unbeneficial but if you get knowledge you can build a business yourself or even set up a company itself because it is all built with knowledge,

I think master degree was so important, for supporting our real life, first in applying job position. If we want setup some business we have a knowledge how to start that business. All we learn ini College was so important for us, for example accounting, economic, e'business, ecommerce was the most important.

Not only is it not essential it is probably worth less than it was in the past. Nowadays most people have masters it doesnt mean much as it used to therefore you need more schooling or a job without schooling

You will not get all the skills that the employers need in schools and colleges. If you are working in research, then the case is different, but for software and IT companies, the educational degrees doesn't matter much. Someone with a doctorate may be having lower skills in coding or programming than someone with a Bachelor's degree. In such case, the company would clearly prefer the latter guy.

It can give you a good start, but to be able succeed you need determination and hard-work, Degree is only a title, not a guarantee you can be a successful person in your career, so I don't think it is really important

It's a very good leverage and a great credential a master degree is specially if you're aiming for good rank in a company you're applying for. A master's degree is also given to a person who actually 'mastered' a certain program. This gives the company the confidence that the person they will be employing actually knows what he/she is doing.

Too true, a master's degree is a solid leverage for companies. But some actually value experience more than how long you actually studied your classes. If i had a company, i would actually value experience. It actually at some point equalizes the opportunities and i would advance them by due of merits.

The important thing is what you can do? If you are innovative and have enough knowledge there is no need to register that knowledge by master degree or any other degree.

I think that topic starters of such country-related topics should specify the country, as requirements for work and education differ from continent to continent. In my country Master degree is important for some industries, for some not. If you look at this philosophically, it really doesn't matter as long as you do what you love

Yes, having a Master Degree is very important because it serve's as a tool to compete with a global competitive era. It is an advantage also today because the meaning of Master degree is that you continue your study to acquire more knowledge in a global market. On the other  hand , master degree is useless if it is not inline to your area of specialization. One must focus only to his/her specialize field so that he/she can give and contribute more with quality, accuracy and efficiency.
