Is Master Degree Important?

In many places it isn't essential. But if you want a higher paycheck than I would advice to get one as companies want to recruit people who are more experienced in the field. Personally I would highly recommend getting one.

In my field, experience matters more than a master degree. The problem with masters degree (if you are doing it full time) is that it will cost you at least two years of your experience. In short, you need to put in a lot of time and effort and in the end you will have to contend with a reduced salary.

I think its up to you if you are ambitious like me then after getting a degree then get a master. Even people who has a masters degree having a difficulty in real life.

In some profession, the the master degree is not required, but i have u have the opportunity , the time and the money, you should not miss it to complete a master degree.....in many offices you will have better possibilities and chances to go higher on the employment ladder............therefor you mostly will need higher certificates like e.g. a master degree

For me, Yes it is important, having a masters degree can help you find better job, more chances of promotion. Just like here in our country, we can be a proffesor in college only if we are a masters degree holder. Another example is that, if we are a Teacher I, we can not be promoted as Teacher II, III and so on and so fort if we are not a masters degree holder.
 Higher Education means higher opportunity.

If you want to seriously promote to your current company I guess master degree and experience really matters but in todays society most people tend to say that master degree is not that important anymore because there is a lot of ways to earn money though for me master degree is not for job, I think this is for self improvement and achievements in life.

all in terms of education is important moreover we can be up to the master but nowadays more in the domination of medium-sized work more for the labor may be the choice of each if in the virtual world we do not need high school that is important we want to learn and have the intention of work

Exactly. If your dream job require Masters then go and get it. If not then what is it for? All depends on your goals.

There are very few jobs that require a masters degree nowadays. But if you want a job in the NASA or the USGS, then a masters would be very handy (a Ph.D would be even better). Times have changed, with a lot of jobs being created in the IT and the ITES sectors.  This means that jobs that require a college degree are on the decline. Most of the employers now prefer recruits who are good in automation and the handling of big data. A good knowledge of coding or programming can make your life much easier.

Depend on where the individual wanna work, but nowadays degree isnt so important anymore, if money you wanna achieve then college isnt the only choice to get. If you wanna build carrier then its fine.

This depends on how you understand and what you do. If you work in a government office, a higher education will give you more opportunities to improve. If you are an average office worker, it depends on your company's requirement for a degree. If you jump ship, it will be a knock on the door.

Masters degree used to be importance, but its importance has gone down over the years. Rather than the educational degrees, the recruiters are giving more importance to the skill-set of the potential employees.

Is Master degree important? Yes! Master degree is important. Because it is the continues process of your finish course that may help to grow and developed the skills, ideas, talents and even the punctuality of oneself. Having a degree doesn't you have to criticized others.But instead helping one another and To pursue ones dream and be a inspirations to everyone. If you want to get a good and professional job then it is important, but if you want to have a job like in the mall or restaurant then you dont nees it. But for me its important, if you have money to study then dont waste the chance because ita for you, its for your future. Me? i just finish 2 years in college and dont have master degree, because our family dont afford to study in college. But if they will give me a chance i will not waste the oppurtunity.
