I think some people are afraid of bitcoin now because of the fact that one day they can't control anyone anymore because of these new technologies and virtual currencies emerging. They're afraid they won't be able to cope up with these things that they discourage any people who gets interested with bitcoin.

I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin? is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?
It is very simple, they want to pull bitcoin down in order for them to benefit from it. I would say that this action is done by bitcoin competitor or it could be act from those btc price manipulator. |

Yes im believing that someday the bitcoin will grow and the time that the bitcoin will be legal in our country and use as payment for the small stores. The people who against bitcoin is the people that want to control the price but the bitcoin is decentralized and no one can control bitcoin. |

The issue is just many government of each countries has not adopted it because of the threat some of them think bitcoin can bring as it decentralized and also anonymous transactions which can be used to launder without traces and government always against AML..
With bitcoin being decentralized I think that it is the government and people with authority who always go against bitcoin. They are afraid that their control with the currency and trading might be affected. Once bitcoin is accepted they are afraid that they cannot control the price anymore. Bitcoin can compete with them and they don't have the ability to manipulate it. |

Yes, There's still a lot of people who are against or do not believe in bitcoin and what I think of is - it is because of the risk of security. I even tried to discuss this with my friends at work and they do not believe that they can earn money in bitcoin even without any investment.
people we do not understand, we can't trust the bitcoin. Do they really harden it? Try to show them your profit in bitcoin most probably they would ask you about bitcoin. some doesn't believe because they don't understand and doesn't see show them your earnings they will ran after btc. |

I think it is because they don't want digital currencies they want to stay with Fiat,
They don't want the anonymity they want some regulation and want to make sure of their money's safety ,
They think that banks are much more safer than digital currency.

I am also curious why there are so many people who are against Bitcoin. I think that they don't have any interest into it or probably they do not know what are the benefits of Bitcoin. If they would just learn to understand the side of Bitcoiners maybe they will not be against in Bitcoin.

People tend to be pessimistic in bitcoin maybe because they think that it is a bubble that will burst anytime now. It is a scam and used by criminals with their illegal activities. It is decentralized in nature that is why it is easy to do all the dirty works because no authority can trace and control the transactions.

Because of the lack of confidence in the investment. Right now there is a lot of fake investment so maybe they (against bitcoin) are not easy to believe in new investments.

They do it because bitcoin has many disadvantages and negative effects that can make people who know bitcoin to lose something very valuable. So many people even governments in every country against bitcoin not to be used like any other currency because it can harm anyone.

maybe because they haven't experience earning bitcoin and due to lack of knowledge that is why they are still against bitcoin and they still don't believe in bitcoin. These people are afraid to be scam and to lose their money. |

I dont think those "people" whom your'e referring to, are against. It's just that they know nothing or minimal on cryptocurrencies,which hinders them to fully accept it. They are just being cautios on something they dont fully understood. Just like me on my first time hearing about bitcoins. I was reluctant at first yet when i get to know it's value,i indulged on it openly.

Currently, there is an investment (bitcoin) just for fear of losing big profits. However, others use bitcoins and other "cryptocurrencies" to commit crimes.
Many countries support bitcoin, but not a few are against it. China for example. The country has banned its citizens from trading (digital currencies).
Japan, meanwhile, issued a law that recognizes bitcoin as a legal payment method earlier this year. Besides Japan, it is Russia which also ends in favor of bitcoin. The country is reportedly preparing this regulatory framework.

What they are afraid of is that they do not have a clear support of the states. But they can apply tough sanctions. Future uncertainty creates fear.
