Why are so many people against bitcoin?

I think many people are just not fond of change and innovation. They see bitcoin as a threat to the old system where we still use cash for every transaction. There is also a possibility that they don't feel that secure when they hear the word bitcoin and online.

Well many are against bitcoin maybe because the see bitcoin giving them trouble or perhaps they are just trying to gather some investors that's why they are making fake news about bitcoin.

I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

You have to understand that we are at a pivital time that has only occurred about 4 times in history. The form of currency has only been upgraded on about 4 occasions and they were all extremely disruptive and took a very long time to adopt.

People have been operating off of a financial system their whole lives, they arent as reluctant to just jump ship.

It seems to me that a lot of people who are in crypto have something against bitcoin, I can't exactly explain why, but I have read lots of people calling bitcoin shit because of the low speeds and hight transaction fees which are true at the moment. But upgrades are on their way, I myself use a segwit address and it's not that bad. I just think a lot don't have patience.

Change. Change is not easy. It's just not easy to see that 'money' the most essential thing in someones life take a new Avatar. It really is difficult to accept that time has changed. I'm sure when we moved from barter system to coins for trade there must have been the same kind of feeling towards it. But eventually people moved on and that's what will happen in case of Bitcoin. To be honest it's the government of some countries that are afraid for a change. Bitcoin is actually a great investment options right now

I think the reason behind why are so many people against bitcoin is because of they have no knowledge what are the things and benefits from bitcoin.
Through their lack of knowledge and ignorance there many people not believing in cryptocurrency. I think sooner or later they will eat their words that they say in bitcoin.

they heard only about people saying bad about btc.
the other thing why they against btc because they see it as a threat to their business because they cannot manipulate or control the market of btc.

Anything can be used in criminal transactions, even paper money. Bitcoin doesn't make crimial payments that easier. This argument is not valid for me. Some people are afraid of losing money in bitcoin, that's why they blame bitcoin, simple.

I think they wear Bitcoin because it is unacceptable and unappealing in many countries. Besides, many bad rumors about it involve corruption, social evils or simply anonymity. Therefore, more publicity and transparency are needed to give people a different view of Bitcoin

Most of the haters of BTC are the bankers,or the people who were left behind by its trend or the people who are uneducated with the blockchain technology,or the people who was misinformed by the biased media,eitherway they just need sometime to think of it,some research to change what their first impression to cryptocurrencies as well in BTC.

There are many anti-bitcoins, although bitcoin has many benefits and it helps people make a lot of money. I think those who resist bitcoins do not know what bitcoin is, people in the government do not want it popular.

People are thinking that bitcoin is nothing but another scam. Back then, there are other huge scams as well and it will not be that questionable if bitcoin turned out to be one great scam. Like if Satoshi is actually still young and is going to dump millions of bitcoins when a certain price have been reached. So many people are skeptical about bitcoin because of this. No one really has a way to prove that bitcoin is indeed legit but that does not mean it's not legit. People simply wants some assurance that their bitcoin actually has a value and not just something that will pop in the future.
