i can't seem to get more than 8 connections on the wallet
Have you forwarded port 17500? I also added additional nodes, check the OP for them.

I am stuck on 8 connections as well. Port is forwarded + I have added the additional nodes.

I've given up already, I had 1 orphan and that's it after running for 20 minutes.
Were you expecting to get thousands of coins? We did say that the variables were set up to prevent instamining Smiley

Actually he has a point. If you want you coin to be valuable you don't want some guy with a gpu farm to point it at it right off the bat and get a couple million coins in the first few days to dump later. Of course then he premined it and already has 1.2 million to do whatever he wants with.

Also, we've already hit difficulty of 1.

1,250,000 COINS PREMINED

STOP OF WASTING TIME
This has already been addressed. As described in the OP, these funds represent 0.5% of total coins and will be used as the basis for a coin mixing service. More info: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=227766.msg2397962#msg2397962

Premines are typically used to line someone's pocket, not launch a service, so I think it's a bit disingenuous to call it that.

Screw? Do you mean escrow? The service is nothing like an escrow. It's an anonymity service. Anonymity is a key selling point of cryptocurrency in general, and we're improving upon it. Blockchain tracking is still possible (obviously), but the data gathered will be worthless, due to the nature of how the coins will be mixed up. More specifics about this feature will be posted soon.

1 hour until launch!

Nice charlatanish words ...

You are selling string-substituying LTC  clone.

Your "mixing service" is vapor.

It is hard to take you seriously with your ZenithCoin avatar... I wonder where your interests lie?

We have big plans for this coin, the mixing service is the least of them. More details on the shop will be released in the coming days. Smiley

I added the additional nodes at the top and after a few minutes I have ~20 connections.

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.

Yep.  Anyone who believes that what they have to say is so much more important than what others have to say, that they use larger fonts, bold, and sometimes red, gets an ignore from me.

(Exception of course is if someone is warning about a virus/trojan/wallet stealer)

Not to mention all he's doing is repeating what the OP said in his original post.

I'm not mining this coin, just pointing out he's annoying.

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.

If you actually believe he is a scammer, and you have proof, post it in the scam accusations subsection of the forum.

This rant has no place in this topic.

EagleEye, from what I understand, you hijacked a coin from another developer, and redirected the address that he had set up to send 50% of all mined coins to yourself. You're hardly in a position to say half the things that you have.

That being said, I don't crap in your thread, so I ask you politely not to crap in mine. Thank you. Smiley

A few problems here.

1)  Vapor??  Yeah, I smell something - and you should have that checked.
2)  Premined?  It was stated it was for a mixing service -- which I actually find interesting.
3)  You still failed to find the scam accusations subforum.
4)  You would do well to listen to Nolo... he is one of the people you 'should' pay attention to.
