We are pleased to announce that the StableCoin Shop is nearing completion. The back end is about 75% done and our web design guy is in the process of designing a clean front end. Originally, we just planned to offer digitally delivered goods at launch, but competing services have forced our hand. Therefore, we have decided to include Amazon.com integration as well. Here's the specifics: * Users will have an account that they can transfer SBC into * After a certain number of confirms (currently 50, subject to change), SBC will be posted to the account * SBC can then be converted to USD credit based on an algorithm that invokes several market variables USD credit can be spent in the following ways: * Users can submit an Amazon.com wish list which will be purchased for them * Users can have steam games gifted to them * Users can have gift cards codes delivered to them via email The shop is set to be launched as soon as SBC has a fair market price establish (aka gets on an exchange). I'm sure a few of you will question this, but anyone who has taken an economics class will understand why we can not just launch the service and ascribe an arbitrary value to the coins. I hope you are all as excited about launching this service as we are. Discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=235287.0

Artos, Have you had any responses from any exchanges?

These are the only peers I've been able to connect to: addnode=71.92.158.168 addnode=72.78.100.13 addnode=86.22.130.144 addnode=91.65.152.114 addnode=96.247.76.165
72.78.100.13 is the only one that maintained its connection the entire time.

I have heard from someone who asked BigVern. SBC is going on Cryptsy soon, after EZcoin is added.

Hi revilo, Something odd was happening with your pool. Payouts started becoming delayed after ID# 413398. I was completely missing payments for 413461 and 413478, until they eventually did come in quite a bit delayed. There was a big drop in hashing power around then too. I've moved my miners off for now, but if you check the server out and say everything is OK, I"ll move them back. Thanks,

Yes indeed. My router was kind enough to automatically update and wipe out my port forwarding settings 10 mins ago. All fixed now, was offline for about 10 mins Please send me your wallet address so I can send you 25 SBC to make up for it

Anyone have any predictions on market price? I know it's still early but would like to know what to look forward to.

If I had to guess...I would guess around where FTC is...unless people are TRULY frightened by the premine via the first block of 1.25 million. As long as that isn't the case, I would guess around .001 BTC...but I am sure the first day it will swing wildly in all directions

I know some people made bank when cnc came to btc-e because people were buying it for 1BTC and just a bit lower. Then it sank like a stone lol.

Expecting SBC to float the FTC rate is unrealistic imho.

Excellent! Can we please have an ETA on the store or are you waiting for an exchange to pick it up first? It would help the coin at this point to launch the store regardless
