So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins.

This is a good investment for the children, so they can already start at their early age. You can say that it is the same as opening a savings account for your children. Someday, when they grow up, I bet they would really appreciate it.

I am not sure about it. My kids are too small and I don't know whether Bitcoin will retain its value when they grow up. So I have made up my mind to sell at least a part of my Bitcoin stash after 4-5 years (may be 50%). I will invest in real estate, bullion or equities using that money. And I will hold the remaining coins for the long term, irrespective of the future exchange rates.

Saving bitcoin for the future of your children is a good investment if you ask me. As long as your bitcoin is consider as a legal and valuable property in your country, there would be no problem passing it on your children when you die. Try to talk to your lawyers for disclose agreement of all the necessary information that is essential for the case.

That probably would work though i'm not going to get my children involved in it yet. Same as when i'm going to save for their future in a bank. They'll know it when they get to the right age.

If I had children, I'll be teaching them as early as now how to accwss my wallets and take good care of it. I'd tell my wife to make sure that the wallets are secure. The kids deserve to get the coins I get because it helps them to build their future from it.

Here the question is like to have a Facebook account and after the death who will handle that account , so here it is a type of online data.
Here I myself never thought about it but still here in my opinion we can do it in better way , Because here we have the better option to have beige the death to convert bitcoin into fiat or anything like property that is better for the future .
Or I think  it will be more better to tell to the Children that we have these things for you and this is password and this is id and you will never get disappointment after my death and use it in better to grow your income .

Yeah good parents should have a future plan to secure the future of their children in resent time they will buy a educational plan for their children in which the insurance provider will manage the fund that you contributed to insurance. when the time come your child is college the provider will give the money back for school payment, same also when  buy BTC for the future of your children I'm pretty sure when the time come your children are in college your BTC value will be more than you needed payment in school.
