Maybe I'm wrong but I have the feeling that with Bitcoin price growth we have got a lot of new users who are not honesty and passionate interested in Bitcoin but only in fast, instant profit and if they don't get it they got disappointed and give up. Some of them don't even bother to get some basic knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. That is also the reason why we see so much panic selling when the price dumps. Is that only my feeling or do you think that also?

A lot of those users, we cannot do without them because in as much as what they are doing, they lose faith easily and dump, they are equally needed for the growth of the industry and not everyone who start out without such honesty ended being one. I for one was initially carried away by the news of the moment but after a lot of reading and understanding what bitcoin is really about, the mentality then changed which is what we can only hope for in the case of others.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

You're definitely right, but I don't think we can blame all newbies for jumping into Bitcoin, mainly because of the fact that it is an insanely lucrative new market for them - we just have to accept that the far majority of the people here all only interested making profits. At some point when they grow out of their noob shell, they will start to develop a better form of understanding if they really see value in what crypto has to offer (aside from the financial aspect). And yes, the lack of Bitcoin understanding is what makes people end up selling their coins in panic. People who don't understand Bitcoin, or this market, don't have any confidence in Bitcoin and what it stands for. At the end of the day, it's their loss, and I don't really care if they sell their coins at a loss, because I am there to buy up these coins at discount rates, and sell them their coins back with a massive premium. I agree with you to some extent, because it all depends on people's psychology and here in cryptotrading not all are passionate about trading crypto's nor they are having time to master themselves in Trading skills . And you said it right, it all affect the prices due to panic selling by the people. Actually people are just trying to make some bugs from here and there, and i don't think they are really interested in trading bitcoins as it involves heavy risk due to high volatility. But they don't understand that by this way they are just doing time-pass. But i am sure that quality of bitcoin will start increasing slowly as people start learn and educate themselves in bitcoin trading .

Couldn't agree with you more. Bitcoin holders back then really knew quite a lot about bitcoins than most of the people today. Because a lot are only into bitcoining because of the profit they expect to get. Amd simply because, they just want to be in the new trend and not get left behind.

Kniwing human nature, this was already bound to haopen ever since. Because people will always take advantage of everything they can for as long as it is good for them. Some don't even bother to stop taking advantage unless things get ugly. That's just how things work in this world.

This is a normal practice not only in this area.

It's always been like this. However, due to the popularity and exposure Bitcoin gets on a daily basis now, we see more of it. There's a lot more people who are new and will want to ask questions and make themselves known this always happens, it's just more noticeable now that we have many more people who are new.

This post might be criticizing the likes of me. Well, honestly, I do agree with what you said. People are using bitcoin to gain money, not knowing its knowledge and so on. But, these people saw hope in bitcoin. Their government failed them. No jobs, no opportunities. That is why they took this chance to gain money. Do not blame them because they have their own circumstances. Not all people have time to settle down and do their own researches. Some people are devoting their time to invest in bitcoin because the latter did change many people's lives including me.

What quality you wanted specifically,if its the whales or those who really dig into research, then maybe there are few left, but who knows those users might be richer than anyone here soon, since they worked too hard yp earn some amount and while earning I think they're also gaining some knowledge t. It just needs more time.

As far as in-depth and technical knowledge of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is concerned I agree not everyone is technically sound but it doesn't necessarily mean that they don't have the feeling for bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies which the tech savvy people have, they are loyal supporters of bitcoin and they want it to grow. Having said that I must admit that of course there are people who are into bitcoin and cryptocurrencies only for short term gains but I think it's common when something called mass adoption comes in action. Finally I conclude that there are all types of people in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies field both loyal supporters and people with short term goals.

At first, new users would be attracted on the price and earnings with Bitcoin, as time goes by, they eventually seek more knowledge about Bitcoin. As they continue to witness and understand the value of Bitcoin, they will started to be passionate.

In fact a lot of people are regularly using bitcoin, they use bitcoin as a routine for buying and shopping stuff of their daily life. In fact such people have good opportunities that in their area even the local shops are also accepting bitcoin from them. i think that with the passage of time the number of good and quality users of bitcoin are increasing because more and more people are accepting  bitcoin as regular currency.

I believe in what you say. As far as bitcoin's concern, quality users are notjust showing how good they are at selling, holding, trading and a lot more. They are also particular with what they experience in handling bitcoin for years so that they can share to others on how to dome techniques in dealing with bitcoin. It's not that we don't get quality users anymore but we are preparing users to have quality with regards to bitcoin. Preparation is very important so that there is still quality users with bitcoin.

That may be true but we can't blame them. A lot of the users here take advantage of the opportunity of having a sideline income by earning bitcoin without actually knowing fully about what Bitcoin is. Most of them are unemployed or have low paying jobs so they are desperate enough to resort to this kind of means. Most of signature campaign participants are in this situation because it is fairly easy enough to earn through this kind of means - all you will be needing is an internet connection and a working device like a laptop or mobile.

We should push for bitcoin education among the bitcoin users so that each user would know the different aspects of bitcoin. I think that these 'low quality' users will grow to be better bitcoin users in the future as they get to know more about bitcoin, and they will develop a passion for it.

Bitcoin is decentralized as the comments says. So no one is able to ban anyone to use bitcoin. There are no laws that prohibit a person for using bitcoin. As the bitcoin popularity goes high, more users will come but not all of them has the knowledge of what really bitcoin is. They maybe thinking that it does not matter anymore as long as they have money to buy bitcoin for their own. The question, does it really have a bad impact to bitcoin by gaining more users?

I believe you are right and wrong at the same time.

While it is true that people invest in bitcoin without knowing about it and thinking that price will boom in the future so they can grab profits from it, it is also true that these people are human and not bots. They have emotions and that is why they cant bear the thought of losing their money. Hence they do panic sell and often question their decisions. That does not make them "bad quality users", in fact you cannot judge anyone on the basis of their trading methods.

all in all, bitcoin is another currency where you can speculate the market same as market options.
For anything there are believers, holders and people who trade just for profit, this affect the market every now and then, what should scare BTC are the whales; these people have in their hand the possibility to move the market where they want.
I personally don't care about the casual traders, can they affect the price? yes, but not by big margin; casual traders are charmed by this new technology and they see profit on it, most of them fail hard and lose the investment, the smarter ones will stay in the market and will continue trading low/high

I totally agree with you on that matter. Because of Bitcoin popularity rise in this year there are a lot of new people who think they will get rich over night. And when small drop in price happen they panic, because they know nothing about Bitcoin. They can not harm Bitcoin with their ignorance, only its price and by a little. People who don't want to learn about Bitcoin and do trading, they "go home" fast disappointed. But I think that is normal, and that in some hand they even helps Bitcoin.

I guess your point it right!
In the beginning people just had interest, what bitcoin is and didn't believe to much in it!
Now everyone is so addicted to get income, now the only fact that bitcoin is always growing! That's all!
I feel really pitty about that!

I agree with you on this one. Most of the people who own the coins is just seeing it as a thing that you can buy at a low price and sell when price is higher. Not most of them can see what bitcoin can really do. How will it be accepted worldwide and by most people.

Well maybe the coin is still on the phase of being introduced to more and more people and the way to introduce it is by letting them know that you could earn if you invest on this coin. By just trading this coin you can earn.

These people probably the most. People built bitcoin to the rank of God and hope that he will make everybody rich. It seems to me that the main advantage of bitcoin is that it provides freedom to the users. Everyone who wants to work can have enough money and not depend on state-managed economy.
