Bitcoin is showing its popularity through its presence in many countries around the world. Thailand is a developed country in Southeast Asia. The emergence and use of Bitcoin as a currency is truly a positive factor for promoting tourism here. It is hoped that the government of this country will create favorable conditions for Bitcoin to be widely circulated.

Thailand has had Bitcoin in place for some time and I see the government is preparing for the future and how to en brass Bitcoin. It is not unusual to see a " We accept Bitcoin " In all type of stores.
This is really great for Thai People and the Tourists that visit......
That's a great news! I think they really see how can Bitcoin change their lives and they can get so many benefits from it. Bitcoin is really a game changer that anyone can earn so much. This can reduce the poverty rate and help everyone to have a mind set to save. Hopefully, all countries will adopt Bitcoin.

Whether in Thailand has officially legalized bitcoin? It will be good news and as a reference for other ASEAN countries to accept bitcoin. It is possible that the economies of ASEAN countries will be more advanced by legalizing bitcoin.

The more countries accepting crypto currencies then the more people may want to buy crypto currencies to exchange for goods and services. The more people buying the more the demand increases and the more the price will soar. More than that, more people using BTC means a more stable currency for us.

Despite the new rules and direction presented in the decree, the Bank of Thailand (BOT) says that it will wait for the SEC to announce other details of the regulations before it will make a stance on cryptocurrencies and ICOs, according to Matichon. The BOT has previously banned financial institutions from crypto activities.
It stated in no uncertain terms that they are working with the mega banks in Thailand. I just hope for the good and for the release of decentralized exchanges in Thailand soon and to make more partnerships if things get better.

I think if it's success in Thailand, then it will happen in the other country in Asia and I think bitcoin will more popular in Asia. we know that in Asia, bitcoin is spread in many places and I think the populations of people which using bitcoin is increased too although we cannot get the right percentage of bitcoin user, I think it's a big community. and with many countries in Asia that approve bitcoin for a source of income for their people, we can see that there are many merchants available in each country in the future.

But i wonder how this will work in Thailand if the Central bank will prohibit the use of Bitcoin as currency? Is this mean that it will only limited into investments but the people can only convert it into fiat only outside of the county? https://news.bitcoin.com/bank-of-thailand-bans-banks-from-cryptocurrency-activities/

This is a great news for everyone, for Thailand, the Bitcoin users there and for the whole crypto currency community. It is such a joy to see countries who are so excited and very welcoming to Bitcoin, it means they are seeing the good things that it will bring their country and their people. Just like Japan, Thailand already opened and started to take that leap for their country and their people towards financial freedom, better economy and great future for their generations to come. I hope more and more country especially in South East Asia will follow their path so we can have a better future together.

Is it really true? Can you show me some links to this news? I just wanna check once
Great news and good news. Thailand has a high interest in tourism, hopefully the government can facilitate easier deposit and withdrawal of bitcoin in the country. Of course with the inclusion of bitcoin this can open every opportunity to get a better financial opportunity from this. The government does not really know the benefits of blockchain technology and it is beyond our thinking. Because with the growth of our bitcoin population may be further increased, I hope that some other countries will also adjust the bitcoin. Perhaps other Asian countries will also follow Thai steps for their economic development in cyberspace. if so nothing will stop the development of bitcoin. hope Thailand can be an example for other countries.

That's why bitcoin is the mainstream already because i believe majority of the total population of the world already know about bitcoin and the cryptocurrency stuff and i believe that bitcoin is already known to all the countries in Asia now. That's a good news because the more people got to know about bitcoin and the cryptos, the bigger chances of people to be attracted to invest on them.

All the countries in Asia might know about Bitcoin, but it is a different question whether Bitcoin will be able to survive and flourish there. We have seen that China has attacked Bitcoin, India has more or less strangled Bitcoin. Thailand has not acted against Bitcoin yet, but let us see how it deals with cryptocurrencies in the future once it becomes stronger.
