250k USD is the reason. Do you have some free 250k USD? Hah? Yeah, right

250k is a big amount.
Did BTG team have that amount? Probably yes due to premine.
Could they reached an agreement with Bittrex? Probably yes, again.
Is Bittrex guilty in BTG 51% attack? Absolutelly not. It could happened with practically any other coin.
But if we see good progress of BTG development in near future everyone will be happy to forget this incident

BTC   Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System   BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

It is not only Bittrex. Several big exchanges were hit by 51% BTG attack performed most likely by Jack Liao and BTG team to get more free coins since it dumped very hard. Total exchanges losses around 18.5 mln USD. Check this article https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-gold-hit-by-double-spend-attack-exchanges-lose-millions/

Here is a much more accurate article Edward wrote explaining double spending attacks. There is no way to know how much was lost in the attack and to date Bittrex is the only exchange that has released public information about their losses that I am aware of.

Nobody wants your input here. Everybody already understands that you are scammers. Bittrex one of the biggest exchanges have more trust then scammy BTG team and premined coin. Total losses about 18.6 mln USD on all exchanges. Good luck. Check your price chart - FLATLINE.

Cheers!

Unsurprisingly you are mistaken once again,

Bittrex is not even in the top 25 in trading volume https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/455489483253612547/488020918048784385/unknown.png
 https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

Even in trade volume for Bitcoin Gold market alone they are only between 2-5% https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/455489483253612547/488021150094458892/unknown.png

Sir, you are not very good at trying to spread FUD. Enjoy your day!

LMAO, my facts and proofs only shows how delusional, uneducated and scammy you are.

1. Bittrex is one of top exchanges that DOES NOT FAKE it's volume. Your exchanges like Bithumb (25% of your volume), OKex, Bitfinex all DO FAKE VOLUME with WASH TRADING and SPOOFING.
Bithumb, Okex have 90% fake volume. There are about ~5 articles about that now by several independent researches
2. 388k stolen - 18 mln USD overall exchanges losses proven by several researches
3. XAPO dumped its 640k coins - proven by several researches
4. You dumped your premined 200k coins - proven by several researches

I gave several facts and links in previous posts. Pls keep tellin this is FUD because you cant prove me or anyone else wrong. Also PLEASE CHECK YOUR PRICE CHART JOSEPH - FLATLINE.

Cya, have a good day sir.

Let me supplement it with this post of all our endowment wallets: https://bitcoingold.org/endowment-wallets/

(You keep saying the premine was 200k, it wasnt. Never was, never will be no matter how many times you repeat yourself.)

See ya!

So all the same how to calculate the full potential of the future success of the Bitcoin Gold  project? Perhaps it is impossible or very difficult to predict now, but there was a lot of negativity on the Bitcoin Gold project in the beginning.

Co-Founder of Bitcoin Gold works on 3 jobs more than 14 hours per day. BTG Co-Founder has not sold any of his personal BTG investments. Just FYI you can check -> https://bitcoingold.org/endowment-wallets/ and then go to the https://explorer.bitcoingold.org to check every single wallet.

If you have any more questions BTG Co-Founder will be glad to answer. Asking all of these questions are really helping all the community to see that BTG team is completely transparent to all the people. Thanks!

Why do you even reply to that idiot?  His whole account is created to attack BTG, every single post.

He should at least devote some of his time to B-Trash, as least BTG does not think or pretend it is the real Bitcoin.

Oh, wow, paid shill much? How much does Jack Liao and BTG Team pay to such shills like you?
1 year of BTG lifecycle: 97 % down from initial price; no LN, no debit card program. 200k premined coins dumped by developers, 18.5 mln USD stolen via 51% attack, 2mln USD stolen via mybtgwallet scam. NICE YEAR BTG !
