Bitcoin Gold is performing very good in market with its current price with all the fluctuation happening in alternative coins market. What happens these days are dip because markets have already seen major correction in first three months of the year. BTG has to reach at $100 that will trigger the price from there.

I have similar thoughts on this matter. Bitcoin gold is quite a promising coin. The idea, though not new, but an electronic alternative to gold of course can become.

When? BTG has a big competition now.. don't know what's being planned to revive it! .. the value of BTG now is so less that it's becoming unattractive investment.

Bitcoin Gold is a distributed digital currency. It is a hard fork of Bitcoin, the open source cryptocurrency. The stated purpose of the hard fork is to restore the mining functionality with common Graphics Processing Units (GPU), in place of mining with specialized ASIC (customized chipsets), used to mine Bitcoin. BTG touching base with partners from all over the world at Consensus. Bitcoin Gold launches BTGPay programme.

There is currently a network attack on BTG! Please do not withdraw or deposit funds until the attack is over.

The attack is reported on miningpoolhub: "- Bitcoin Gold network is under attack. As there's many orphan blocks generated, profit may decrease temporarily."

I have personally been affected by the attack, my funds are being held up (for over 8 hours now with 0 confirmations) and I don't know if I will get them back!

Still no info on other channels and it looking transactions are moving smoothly I didn't see any Orphan block. Anyway thanks for reporting this ongoing attack but it seems nobody using this coin at the moment.

Lots of orphan blocks are showing up on peoples transactions

The official BTG Discord (https://discordapp.com/channels/378266958824603649/378267155130482711) shows this picture from suprnova.cc:

Miningpoolhub.com says this:
"- Bitcoin Gold network is under attack. As there's many orphan blocks generated, profit may decrease temporarily."

This is from my personal transaction of almost 16 BTG I sent about 9 hours ago:
https://btgexplorer.com/address/GXD3h6ZV71PW4K1g5xLAWXKZNV1iofCZ3V

The transaction was originally going through and got up to 5/20 confirmations on Bittrex, but then reset back to 0/20. Went up again to 3/20 and reset again. Now it sits at 0/20.

Of course, in the case of Bitcoin Cash, 'some people' is defined as 'everyone who held Bitcoin on the Satoshi chain at the moment of fork'.

So in this context, your use of the word 'scam' does not meet any recognized definition.

Nice try, though.

Anyone with a campaign ad in their signature -- for an organization with which they are not otherwise affiliated -- is automatically deducted credibility points.

I've been convicted of heresy. Convicted by a mere known extortionist. Read my Trust for details.
