Interesting information! Is there an official answer? Give, please link to this news

Just a small calculation for the cost of an attack on some POW cryptocurrencies - http://bitcoinist.com/cost-51-attack-major-cryptocurrencies/
Note, there is an attack score for Bitcoin Gold.
It is worth thinking carefully before investing big money in such systems.
Thank you for the interesting article! I also think that investing in crypto currency in general, and bitcoin gold in particular, is a fairly risky business. So do not invest the last money and diversify your assets

I may be mistaken but it looks like Bitcoin Gold is preparing itself for the fork, to mitigate the release of the Bitmain ASIC, with talks with 'Claymore', the well know mining software developer.
A hint of it here.. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1670733.msg39167855#msg39167855

There is rumor that fpga's making a come back in 2018. How will the devs from BTG team deal with this?

I noticed this morning that wallet on Bittrex is continuously offline. After so many days still that issue with double spend has not been fixed. In past some projects which saw similar situation handled very well the situation. I am using this exchange only can anyone confirm if other exchanges have off wallets as well or not ?

BTG wallet on Binance is up.
Bittrex just simply don't want to bring the BTG wallet up, as tons of BTG coins were stuck. They are just simply closing the related support tickets and pointing to "developers". However, to be able to manipulate BTG price and collect exchange fees, they BTG-BTC exchange on Bittrex is up. But no deposit/withdraw, just "insider" trading.

When do the developers solve problem with Bittrex?  Huh
The lower price of a coin, the weaker network. You need to enter master nodes or come up with another solution that will prevent attacks on network.

Progress has been achieved on all the required components for the upcoming Network Upgrade and developers are testing now, but this upgrade will require advance notice and careful planning to minimize disruptions - something they and partners take very seriously. https://bitcoingold.org/?p=26101

Because of miners left the project . Do we have an update on how many coins sold from the premine ?

As far as I know, the attack is over. However, Bittrex (and perhaps some other exhances also) is holding back tons of BTG coins, because they wallet is "automated maintenance" since Saturday. (However, the trade is on.) What kind of manipulation is this?
And they are unable to recover those coins, which are stuck.  Angry Angry Angry Angry
Bittrex's BTG wallet is still offline. Now the official reason is: "Wallet Offline - Awaiting feedback from developers"
Dear developers! Do you know anything?

Bittrex's BTG wallet is still offline, and they have no willingness to solve it, they are simply forcibly closing related support tickets without any meaningful work.  Angry Angry Angry

Still the same on Bittrex:
"Notice: Wallet Offline - Awaiting feedback from developers"

Can somebody do something? Who are those developers?

The answer for that question is NO bitcoin gold is a proven scam with huge premined coins controlled only by development team so we are waiting to see new dump to 10 $ soon . i was  very active to warn traders here to stay away even for a while but many saw that  FUDs

I don't think it's a scam... I mine BTG because it is profitable and I don't want to sell it for current low price...
I hope we will see big pumps when crypto market will become green...
