Again a new lending bug:

I don't know what is happening, but your autolending feature is trying to loan with a fucked up rate.

I have autolend @ 0.88% / 30 days.

BUT it opens new loans at 0.274% for 12 months. That is inacceptable.... (I thought 365 days loans are not even possible?)

I don't understand what you are arguing. You do have your asked 0.88%/30days, in fact the loan you have is better in both ways: you pay a third interest only, and you may have it running longer than those 30 days. Of course you are free to close a loan at any time you like. So, close it in 30 days if you wish?

Ente

You missunderstood me. I am the lender, not the borrower. If i indeed was the borrower, it would be nice, yeah! Smiley

Lol whoops, now that indeed does make a difference! ;-)
Don't worry, your money isn't gone, it's just that someone else has it.

When will Bitfinex add DOGE? DOGE would make a GREAT addition to BTC and LTC at BFX!

It's very script, has many coin, very riches for all.

I've ordered a dual-core DOGE miner yesterday, you can see a picture of it here: https://i.imgur.com/qZU4U7M.gif

So.. so very coin!

I have been lending for a while, but I have not seen any evidence of interest payments accruing to my account.  Where should these be visible?

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day.  Give a man a Poisson distribution and he eats at random times independent of one another, at a constant known rate.

Look for "Interest Payment on wallet deposit" in your account history. Shows up once per day.

I don't know if this has already been asked in this thread.  Once you submit your documents to get your account verified, how long does it normally take?

Is anyone else getting SSL errors trying to connect to bitfinex.com? I imagine it's just a misconfiguration of cloudflare...

also sometime the place order buttons are not working, have to keep clicking several times or refresh the web page. anybody feel that?

If there is a way to keep borrowed funds after reducing a position, I would love to know.

Yes, I would also love to have this option. Is this possible or is this planned at some point? Or is this undesirable to avoid monopolizing cheap interest rates?

Something else: It's common practice to keep an open (e.g. long) position safe by setting a stop loss slightly below the entry point and a limit order at the trade target. In Bitfinex this isn't safe because with considerable market volatility _both_ can get filled and I end up with a short position of the same size. Any suggestions how to avoid this?

Giancarlo, could you please comment on this? I'd love to see the possibility to secure my position with both a limit order (if everything goes as planned) and a stop (if things don't go as planned) and be sure that only one of the two gets filled, not both as it can happen currently (given the market is sufficiently volatile for that).

What do you mean? BitFinex is connected to Bitstamp, the exchange with the highest volume (in USD) of all of them existing. The whole Bitcoin market has only so much depth.. Especially after large movements, it takes a while for the offers to regrow in the cleared out priceband.

I didn't have any buttons not working for weeks on the new interface. However, I have to refresh after closing loans to see the "unused reserved funds" being updated. Besides that, everything is smooth.

Fees on interest?

Supposed to be 10% (uninsured) but I'm calculating I'm short about 13%. Is there some other fee/expense that I'm missing?

If your orders don't get filled, it means that your ask is too high or your bid is too low.
My orders always get filled very quickly.

Happens regularly to me: always when the page was open for some hours without any interaction. The session is still open, the displayed rates got updated, but you simply can't post any action back to the server.

In this cases, I just load the page again (e.g. by clicking on "margin trading"). After the reload, everything works as expected

Hey Bitfinex,

What percentage of the fiat funds are currently held at Bitstamp?

Thanks
