How is this possible? BID >ASK?  (only bitfinex order book)

I swear to god i begin to hate this exchange now.

Support is ignoring me after asking for compensation. The website works perfect when losing money but the moment i start making money it fails everytime.

Now the same shit happend again.

The orderbook what you show above sucked again and my stoporder was at 650 it couldn't go i dont know why it went off at 665.

Profit should be 95 usd

now 2 usd loss, because the fee never fails ofcourse Smiley

At total of 1100 dollar loss because of this kind of same shit everytime.

thanks but no thanks

Couldn't the order book just be a couple of seconds delayed from the actual market.  I have seen this numerous times, but any trades that I have had between what the orderbooks was currently showing and when it next showed has always been filled.

https://bitfinex.com/?refcode=UInJLQ5KpA <-- leveraged trading of BTCUSD, LTCUSD and LTCBTC (long and short) - 10% discount on fees for the first 30 days with the refcode

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Yeah, when I trade, I do it with bitcoinwisdom open on another screen, ignoring whatever weird stuff is displayed on bitfinex itself.

https://www.coinlend.org <-- automated lending at various exchanges.
https://www.bitfinex.com <-- Trade BTC for other currencies and vice versa.

I think we all do that.  Bitcoinwisdom seems to update in more realtime, sadly.  Plus the default order book is not long enough.  ...oh, and my open orders don't stay sorted by price (when the page auto-refreshes).

Yeah but still if the stops don't work why are they there ? I can't make it work with bitcoinwisdom.

My stupidest mistake was going to crypsty what a horrible exchange that is. I left an attorney with the case.

I hoped to find an professional exchange so I can take all my money at one place. I use now btc-e bitfinex bitstamp. Just to make sure I can trade. When I started with bitfinex I thought oke this is the best. I wanted to take all my money there so I started depositing more money to it.

I already lost my deposit now and I can't earn it back with this every time.

I am very disappointed to be honest.
Cryptsy looked like crap and unprofessional, bitfinex from the start it looked professional so yeah it's a punch in the face. Maybe we just need to regulate the whole market so it can work better we have no insurance at all.

I hope support will listen to me and take me serious or else I will take it all to btc-e and hope I don't get robbed by the bulgarians

The only time a stop order won't fill is during a drop when it gaps through it.  Which does happen, not to often since the liquidity of bitfinex has grown massively.

Ok, if that works and the orders dont behave like the order book of bitfinex. Well. (I did my first trade at bitfinex, but I know BTC order books can be slow at other exchanges too)

@kitkat007, I wouldnt bring all my trading money to any exchange. All the time I allocate it to a few. For trading I like bitsatmp most.

hy,
how are sell orders routed to bitstamp? i cant see them on the charts of bitstamp, so they are hidden? sometimes on low volumes my sell orders on bitstamp are not executed, although there are sells at higher prices than my limit and my order sits there for already 10 min or longer, so is there anything to know about how bitfinex limits are queued in the bitstamp book?

They say your orders are not in the bitstamp order book!

FAQ/support
Is my order posted on Bitstamp's orderbook when I route it on Bitstamp?
No, currently your order stays on our internal orderbook and is executed at your set price (or better) when that price is reached on Bitstamp's orderbook. Bitstamp doesn't provide a reliable way of knowing the history of a specific order and thus of updating your order if we place it on its orderbook.

Hello,

I dont find this option! Do I understand right, its a auto renew lending option?
Quote
What is the "auto-renew offer" feature?

If this feature is set, when one of your loans expires, it will be turned into a new offer with the same parameters as this loan, so you don't have to always monitor your deposits to renew your offers.

What about stop orders?  if my market orders aren't being processed (was taking 4-5min until i canceled), what about a stop order that gets triggered?  could potentially be disastrous.

I have two questions.

1. I might have read somewhere that it's possible to get profits from margin trading payed out in BTC instead of dollars? Is this true?
2. Is it possible to place, for example, a buy order at 650$ and let it automatically close at 680$ or maybe when the price is up 5%? When I change the order type all the input boxes stay the same, so I'm not sure if I would do it right.

I have two different amounts in the "Trading Wallet".

Under "YOUR BALANCE" = 0.01 BTC
Under "Account overview" = 0.00 BTC

With this Margin Balance, Tradable Balance and Net Value I should have 0.01 BTC in all "Trading Wallets", right?
Margin Balance    $5.82
Tradable Balance    $11.64
Net Value   $5.82

How can this happen?

Thanks

So I should not have a Margin Balance, Tradable Balance and Net Value from 0.00 BTC like this, right?

Tradable Balance    $11.64

How can this happen?

This happened to me too. They don't deduct some of the fees until later.

Ok, thanks.

By the way, I did EDIT (different wording) my Post #1237, while you answered. My Post is not actual in your quotation. Wink
