Does this Project require blockchain technology for feasibility, trying to understand the benefit of this on bc, looks interesting!

One of the most important advantages of having this kind of project on blockchain is that you can have decentralised computer power and dont have to run internal servers which are a huge investment and use a lot of electricity and maintenance.

One of the downsides of having this kind of project on the blockchain is that transactions have to undergo a cumbersome ritual that doesn't scale. In other words, the decentralized computer isn't fast enough to deal with the apps running on it. As we can see from CryptoKitties. It's a trade off between performance and security (or is it trust?) and for some apps it doesn't make sense to run in the blockchain. Now if you were buying a Landrover thru Mark.space, sure, it's safer than sending a cheque by mail. But unfortunately you're sharing the decentralized computer with frivolous apps, so your payment fails or is delayed. Ethereum better solve this scalability problem soon because it's hurting business.
I think in the futures with the lightning network and further developments it will be much faster than it's now.

Could you provide any proof of those "positive reviews" on Facebook?

ICO will be in 2 stages? Why the second ICO in a year? The first stage will last more than a month?

This is not a 2 stages of ICO. This is pre-ICO in December, and than ICO in January

Quote
Pre-ICO – Ongoing, until 28 December 2017
ICO – 23 January 2018 until 28 February 2018

There will only be a second stage if the ICO from the 23th of January to 28th of February won't sell out and if there are unsold tokens.

I understand that there will be a 2nd ICO in any case. Hardcap for 1st stage is 35m $ or 435m tokens but all in all there are 885m tokens for sale (table on p34 of the whitepaper).

Interesting use of vr in some field that is not only gaming. lets read a bit more about MARK.SPACE and the 3D/VR ecosystem.  Smiley
VR will still be applied in many fields, unfortunately many focus only on entertainment, but its application will certainly be extended in several other areas. Mark.Space will be proof of that, and it will revolutionize and create something great. Right moon

Basically the options of usage are endless from learning, socialising, advertisement, entertainment, travelling and so on. The VR technology still didnt come close to reaching its peak so it will be really interesting to see what Mark.Space can offer us in the future.

4 * 36 * 36 * 36 = 186624 unit. Each of them is 8 x 8 = 64 m2. Is it correct?
To get free Residential, how many tokens do I need to buy?
Why will bounty rewards be frozen for as long as 1.5 months?

1) 4 * 36 * 36 * 36 = 186624 unit. Each of them is 8 x 8 = 64 m2. Is it correct?
Yes
2) To get free Residential, how many tokens do I need to buy?
If you register now (during presale period) you will get one Residential unit for free!
3) Why will bounty rewards be frozen for as long as 1.5 months?
That is easy - to avoid token price drop right after the listing at the exchanges. We already have a few preliminary agreements with exchanges and we are trying to avoid price dropping (in my personal opinion this period should be even longer - then baunty hunters will get the value of MRK and not sell right after freezen period. Disclaimer: that is my personal opinion)

It's a nice thought but I saw what happened with kickico, bounties were locked for some months but prices went down no matter what after ICO. Why? Because of huge bonus on pre-sale

Second stage of ICO? Really? They thinking, if they are not able to sell tokens in 3 month, they sell in 4 or 5 month?

The scenario within a year is very unpredictable, one can not imagine in which situation the tokens will be received, many unforeseen events can happen, internal and external factors. Is there a form of guarantee, at least residual for possible losses in the long term?

So, the tokens will be tradable after a year? That's a very long waited then, especially for short period investors.

that's what I've been saying. it's gonna put off a lot of people. 1 year is an eternity in crypto time.

Where you read this. Have you a link with the infos? Thanks.

It seems like but I think that they will sold out their tokens or at least reach their soft cap

Well, I think this project is good for long term investment - of course much will depend from bitcoin price- I hope 2018 will start from stability.

nice project build on own block chain? reading whitepaper still. Pre-ICO is going on. How much total raised so far? also any discount and minimum requirement to participate in ICO now?

1) So far it is going to be build on Ethereum because infrastructure is already there. However we do plan to build our own blockchain eventually. We are reviewing newest technologies such as Hashgraph as well
2) Amount totally raised is around $1M
3) We have 40% bonus at the moment yet we also are going to announce some very nice extras for early birds. Please subscribe at the site to get detailed info on bonuses. Minimum requirement is as low as 0.001 ETH

I was thinking when ARK will deploy the "Push Button Deployable Blockchains" you will be able to just clone ARK's blockchain. This will give you your fast DPoS chain with all ARK's features and smartbridged with ARK

Why would they copy or use ARK blockchain for Mark Space? Ethereum is good enough for this task

Yes, Crypto currency is just beginning to develop, after a few years, many projects will work on 100% power.

Very nice to have good bonus on that kind of invest. MARK.SPACE is really a good project to hold, is think it’s good to take position now and keep your token warm.

I agree, similar 3D/VR projects was not so many in my memory. This is a very promising sector with ample opportunities - I think these guys will succeed, because this is futuristic project!

But unfortunately you're sharing the decentralized computer with frivolous apps, so your payment fails or is delayed. Ethereum better solve this scalability problem soon because it's hurting business.
I think in the futures with the lightning network and further developments it will be much faster than it's now.

Have you even seen the roadmap? That stuff is a dang long way off, man! That lanky Ethereum guy said it's gonna take 3 years at least. Ain't nobody got time for that. That's a century in cryptotime. How's Mark.space going to be usable on this slow ass network? Who's going to wait 2 hours for the payment to come through in cyberspace?

You have touched upon the most important problem, if the ethereum doesn't accelerate, then it will be replaced by another platform.

Yeah, I agree. VR and AR is the future with so many vast use cases for such technologies and this project is at the right time now.

ICO will be in 2 stages? Why the second ICO in a year? The first stage will last more than a month?

Yes, we will have ICO in 2 stages. There are many reasons why second part of ICO is in a year from now, yet mainly it is because we do believe that in a year from now we will be able to present much more mature product. The first stage will last slightly more than month Jan 23 - Feb. 28

How will you determine the price of the second ICO phase? Until then the tokens could have gone really high or even lower then the current ICO price (even if I don't hope this). You will take the current market price at that point of time? How will you handle the price fluctuation during this time?

Still would like to hear something about this Smiley

After crypto kittens i'm not sure ethereum chain is trustable or not.

If there will be more apps or games will use ethereum chain what will happen?
